I've been there once in my life and it is not worth going back. They sometimes use some wierd powdered milk in their drinks and it made me sick, although I get sick from just about anything. I had a 39.5 C fever when I woke up because I ate an orange flavored 3 Musketer.

What is really sad is that people don't know what OPEC is.

And all wal-mart does is provide cheap, low end merchandise to people. They're main clientèle is comprised of lower-middle class and working class citizens who don't have the means to shop elsewhere. I like wal-mart and I think that there should be several in every major metropolitan area in America.

i am not saying they are bad, i was just saying that they were trying to take over the world, cause, even if people dont all agree on things here, one thing everyone can agree on is that money is one of the only factors running this world.

thus, making money = taking over the world, imo.

MacDonald's has a lot more human rights issues than Google... Not to mention all the environmental issues and other crazy things it's taken part in. Google is just Google. For now, it's like Microsoft only people don't inherently hate it. That and its stock is worth almost 450 a share...

I hate to say it, but I'm pro-any coffee shop, including starbucks. It has remotely decent coffee, I'm game.

I use google extensively, don't think it's evil or anything. I dont think Mcdonald's is evil either. I just dislike fast food so I never eat there or any chain fast food place for that matter. Google can't really take over everything. If it ever became a monopoly, then the US Gov't would come down and kick it's ass (like they did with Microsoft). America isn't a free capitalist society, if it was, then the world would be unified under the rule of the Standard Oil Company.

Standard Oil Company had a monopoly on oil from mining (right term?)to production to refining to shipment during early 20th century. It was dissolved by the Sherman Anti-trust act established to fight trusts and monopolies. Later on the US government dissolved AT&Ts hold on the phone market as well (that's why you have companies like Verizon and TMobile). Bill Gates was also forced to step down from CEO of Microsoft because he was practicing monopolic behavior. So what I'm saying is there is no way Google or McDonalds could become a monopoly because it's illegal.
