About spoiler, it's true. But I think VK author will pair Yuki and Zero together. Don't get me wrong, I'm not Zero bias here. It's because I read whole 89 chapter. And I get a feeling, that Yuki and Kaname will be separated, and Yuki will be with Zero
Or let it be open or Yuki will be alone or with Zero or Yuki died in the end. Oh yeah, kaname is not a bad person here. This chapter explained the reason of Kaname action before.

Kaname is not a bad person here. He's willingly sacrifice his life to make Yuki life more 'comfortable'. Even, as a child, he has taken some burdens so that his beloved can life happily. And He's intended to make YukixZero as a couple

I'm still not sure about the ending, but whatever I've abandon this manga a long ago. The story has no appealing for me, too puzzled. But still, the arts makes me want to take a look sometimes

Well, this chapter has effectively made me toss away Zeki like

Yuuki tossed away Zero for her manipulative "brother". I, a Zeki fan, don't want it to happen anymore, Zero deserves better than Yuuki who willingly goes after Kaname over and over again even knowing that he used and caused much of the pain and anguish that Zero suffered through. How am I supposed to be happy with canon Zeki if Hino writes Yuuki like she doesn't even care what Kaname does to him.

Oh, and the line "Mr Human lover who won't ever pull the trigger", I'm seriously hoping this is a foreshadowing that Zero kills her. She's going to do something thinking he won't shoot her, only to be surprised when he does...having completely forgotten that the thing that always kept him from pulling the trigger was his love for her...which she stripped him of. It'd be poetic justice, IMO.

Before that, though, I'm kinda hoping Zero ends up with Yori, Yuki's own best friend, just so she'd have to see him being happy with her.

I've this series since a long time "on-hold" and know i again why... And reading the spoilers (and overwatch the chapter itselfs) i wish i would have never started the series... >:-(

like the other commenters, it's been years since i last read VK. i'm a zero biased and have stopped reading this when yuki became a vampire and chose her brother.

The latest chapter was just SO distasteful. It's really indescribable.

It's not just that in chapter 88 Yuuki decided she was in love with one of the guys only to have sex with the other one in 89 (and the reasoning was so stupid too.)

Sex to figure out your destiny? Um, what? And Yuuki kept talking about Zero before Kaname propositioned her, so she's having mopey sex with him while thinking about another guy?

It's also that Zero got screwed over to an unprecedented degree.

He had his memories taken from him, despite begging Yuuki not to do it, AND he now has to play bodyguard for Kaname, his greatest enemy AND the dude who just stole his love interest. Hino sure likes to kick this character while he's down.

And on top of that, the mangaka just spent the past 30 chapters making Kaname into the villain only to go, "oops! trolled ya!" Just because

Aidou's dad is alive doesn't erase all the other bad stuff Kaname has done. He still killed people. He still caused a huge mess in vampire society. He still hurt all of his friends (and Yuuki!) But no, apparently the mangaka didn't have the guts to go through with her storyline.

And to make up for the fact that Kaname is now "good," the mangaka introduced two new random characters (one of whom we've never even seen before) to act as final villains of the series. Oh yeah, Hino really made me care about these guys in that ONE page they were in the chapter. Who introduces totally random villains 3-4 chapters before the manga is scheduled to end?

The manga wasn't very good before this, but I can't think of another series that got so bad so quickly in just one chapter. (There's probably some, but this is the first one for me.)

And yeah, Zero have such a shitty life.

His family got killed, he became a vampire, and he lost his precious memories of loving someone now....

:/ Can't just one good thing happen to him? I'm pretty sick of the mangaka throwing Zero under a bus multiple times and always keeping him unhappy. 🙁 sigh

Actually,I think finally Yuki n Kaname shared they love! It's about time! Yeey!! i mean,they loved each other for years!! But reading the chapters before,and knowing Yuki is really really close with Zero,that she has feeling to him too.. I don't know.. Why does she want to do 'it' with Kaname? Look at her expression as they do 'it'.. Why does she cry? Will Kaname really be death?

I havent read the manga yet, but I have seen the anime. I my self dont like yuuki`s brother, but I kind of like the incest aspect of it. But overall Zero should win.

I'm an all out Zero fan! Though I kind of dig Kaname's noble character, I'm more of a "forbidden love" type. Also during the time I was reading VK, I hated the idea of incest. But recently, I've started to accept it.. Maybe even crave for it sometimes 😁 Also, my heart literally sank just by seeing Zero point a gun at Yuuki... 😔 Noooo.... But I won't give up on Kiryuu-kun just yet! 😀
