Well, it's interesting, since I haven't read any manga about how the manga world works. There are some stuff I just skip (long explanations).

Nah, nothing special about it. Bakuman is overrated because of Death Note's success. There tons of mangas out there that needed recognition.

It's unique, and is rather realistic.

One of the few series I actually read as each chapter is released, rather than waiting for several before continuing.

Definitely on my current top 5.

People tend to be subjective rather than objective when it comes to rating a series especially when it came from same author who accomplished a great series.

Ton and tonss of mangas out there that does not get the attention deserved. A lot better than this. 😃

that is not quite true...
think about bleach, one of the top 5 mangas out there, and it started to suck, and it went dooown... even i stopped reading...

sure, i'll it the fact that i started reading bakuman due to the success of bakuman, but it turned out he still had alot more up his sleeves, otherwise i wouldnt have gotten hooked like 80% of other mangas...... im very choosy too...

if its from a death note author, i believe people will be very opinionated and very observing to see, basically more strictly judging, and it turns out to be good..

I like reading Bakuman,
when they were about to hear I they got in or not, I got excited with them!
but sometimes the explanations are too long.

I love it^^ really shows the hardships mangakas have to go through to get to the top. Also showing how the fears that the mangakas have from keeping there series up and running. A unique plot, and i also cheered with the main characters when they got accepted 🤣

manga with ok story. Just too much text, and I think it moves a little too slow.

Im not a big fan, I mean I like it and its enjoyable. It does tend to have alot of text in some parts but is an alright manga.( I didn't know it was made by the guy that made Death Note considering I do not like Death Note at all.)
