I'm looking for a manga that has a female-dominant relationship.and by dominant, i mean that the woman is older, more mature, has more money, has a better talant, or physically stronger then her male counterpart. 1c2a5x
i've seen many 'strong-spirited' female leads, but i haven't seen a lot of 'materalisticly' strong female leads. There are a lot of more mentally mature woman, but not a lot of rich/better occupation woman.
some examples are
Kimi wa Petto
Beauty Pop
Gokusenmaybe? depends on who you think is her soulmate

Fujoshi Kanojo: He's a college student, she's a slightly older woman who works in an office (but isn't an office lady).

"The Kidnapping of Minja Jo's Boyfriend"--she is smarter than him and more in control
"Kimi no Sei"---the guy is in love with her and she is using that to exact revenge so i guess she is in control atleast for now
"Show me the money"---the girl is physically much stronger
"Angel shop"--she is smarter, possibly better in of looks and totally in control of her emotions
"saver"----for me she is one of the strongest female leads of all time. more talented in sword fights, calculating, smart and insanely beautiful.
maybe also "ruby doll"--personally didn't like this one cos of the ending

Hmm, I don't agree that Joousama no Inu has a dominant heroine. The story is set up that way but it totally fails in execution. In fact, the heroine is rather pathetic. It really pissed me off.
Try Mugen Spiral for a similar type of story with a truly strong and dominant heroine this time. It is unfortunately a short series and as such leaves a whole lot of things unresolved, but even though I normally hate when that happens, this managed to actually satisfy me, it is really good. I think you'll like it.
I'm watching this thread with interest cause I am looking for this type of female leads as well atm. John21's suggestions sounded right up my street, but I am kind of aversive to reading Manwha & Manhua... Hope there's more suggestions to come 🙂

Most if not every work of HWANG Mi Ri
Her females tend to be over the top and most of the times are strong enough to kick the guys ass....so they more hunt them than fall for them like little sweet innocent weak lambs, lol.

ed some more of this type of manga
Watashi ni xx Shinasai! ---guy is more popular but the girl fully manipulates and even blackmails the male lead into doing things her way. So she is in control though she loses that control sometimes. The only problem here is the art. Its all sparkly and stuff with big eyes etc though some ppl like dat kinda thing
The Legend of Maian ---this is more action than romance. I disliked the art but its got what you are looking for. The girl is evil(sort of..not really), more stronger, better in of looks and just protects the guy here. The plot os bad though.
S no Yuiitsu M no Zettai ---the first story got exactly what you are looking for.
Stroke Material---really liked this one. Too short though. The guy is a player but he changes totally because of the girl who is smarter, quite emotionless, in control and even manipulates the guy. she is also good looking.

Kimi Wa Petto - she is older, earns more and has a higher education than him.
