I'm confused. Is Shioon using ki? I thought if he used the foot techniques without it, he would break his ankle, but if he used ki while healing, his ki center would be broken forever. 😕 3y3z4

I don't think it's a black and white thing... where if it's used, its broken. It's probably more of a if he goes beyond a limit, itll break.

he is able to do foot techniques without ki and for the attacks against him he was him just pulling back or just loosely letting his body absorb the blow while moving back to create less damage.

somewhere was said he shouldn't use ki because his ki-centre would shatter completely. but it improves, which means he should be able to gradually use larger amounts of ki.
so a little ki shouldn't be a problem
plus it's not all that bad to not see him throwing his energy out of the window like before, always.

it is not about the amount since he has always been able to use an enormous amount (even more than the masters) just not as skillfully.

well yes. when he has more skill he can use a bit of ki without going overboard and shattering his ki-centre

actually, he needs his ki center fully healed for that not skill. so right now he is just supposed to be resting it without tring to use his ki to get it fixed.

Okay - that makes sense, since they mention that the foot technique he uses only requires small movements.

On a totally unrelated note: Is anyone else worried that Elder Jun isn't sending reinforcements? Like, maybe it's no coincidence that he introduced Shioon to the creepy-night-vision guy. Maybe he's only acting like a hotheaded moron, but is actually kind of sinister...

Probably not, though. But it does seem like it's taking a while for the backup to arrive.

Yeah, but he called Elder Jun for reinforcements right at the start of the attack, and Elder Jun promised to send help. A while after that, when they were on the roof with the pretend Sae Hee, waiting for backup, Sera Kang said that it had been half-an-hour already since the bad guys showed up at the school. It seems weird that it would take Sun Woo that long to send help for their clan head, you know?

gotta have that dramatic buildup where they come right in time.
