RE4...though when 5 comes out I may change to that. Then again Leon was my favorite character in the RE series

i rate RE4 cus it has better game control while the others are harder to play

Haven't seen the third one. So it's hard to say. But 4 really rocks. Never had so much fun playing an action game.

while re4 is better for the controls, i hated the storyline, so imma go with re3, but re2 is a close second

The fourth doesn't even fall in the same category with the first three games. RE4 is just another mindless shooting game, there's just not the 'resident evil' feeling in that game (More like profitting from the game's name to make it sell), plus the graphics just really didn't impress me like the first two games did.
I'm going to have to go with re2 being the favourite, I might rate the first game over it but I don't really recall anything from the game's story because it's propably been around ten years since I played it. RE2 just had the horror feeling in it (The camera view adds up a lot spice into it), specially when you played it at night with your friends 😀

Resident evil was one of the epic games back in the day 😎

I love resident evil 1, nothing beats the original! although I have to it I prefer the remake over the old one, it's alot creepier.

really? I liked it a lot, and I certainly felt it was a step up from other resident evil games in the past (it's becoming more and more scarier, one of the reasons why I don't play the games at night anymore 🙂 )

but yeah, I can see where your coming from about losing the 'resident evil feel'. If your stuck to the old type game perspective then seeing it being evolved it into something similar to a first person shooter can be disappointing.

Yeah, RE4 didn't really feel like RE, but it was still damn fun to play, and didn't have so many annoying puzzles.
