Why do I see more shoujo than any other genres? 3p2r72

Personally, I'm kinda fed up of reading shoujo mangas (because that's mostly what I see here). Some of them are REALLY enjoyable, but some of them are cliches. I think there should be more shounen get translated, or adventure or sci-fic or action. Most of the releases I see are shoujos, yaois, or djs. If I was a translator, I would translate more shounen mangas. But unfortunately, I can't even understand a symbol. 6k3z5

Isn't this about the same as this thread..?

And please stop whining about the recent overflow of shoujos (tho` I still think it's coincidence). Don't like it, don't read it, simple~.
Plus, there's plenty of non-shoujo manga being scanned and while I get sick of the cliche`s in it too I just onto shounen/seinen/josei/whatever. There are plenty of those too being scanned.

Cuz girls are easy to please. Just throw in a hot guy, a normal girl who is often bullied, some random twist, and have them get together. If i were a mangaka thats what i would draw... Genres like seinen are so much harder =/
Also because there are probably twice as many girls that read manga than boys. Just raw numbers.
