Everything seems good. I was pretty concerned since making a new react version of a site is usually just ruining a good existing website. l366h
This reply box with the preview is the only thing I dislike so far. Only other real change I'm seeing is that multiple genre colors now display on the Releases page instead of one overwriting the others, which is probably a positive.

There seem to be a lot of changes on the series page. I assume we're supposed to wait until everything stabilizes before adding changes or fixing the broken markdowns?

I'm going to go ahead and say that I hate this new change, for me it's a straight downgrade. The only page I use is my created list for series I'm actively reading, but since this update the page now refreshes slowly or not at all, and it goes back to the top of the list instead of where I was at the time.

... Not to mention autofill suggestions while typing in this box is not a thing anymore on mobile, which will seriously hamper typing speed, bc you can’t type normally with 10 fingers like with a computer. I use other forums and none of them disables autosave and autofill suggestions in the reply box
Forgive my ignorance, but can you describe the autofill suggestions?
so when i type anywhere on mobile, from text messages, to google searches, to forum posts, etc., there are always suggestions displayed right on top of my keyboard.
for example, when you type “conf”, you’ll see “confess” or “confession” of “confirm” suggested to you, and instead of having to type the whole word, you just need to click on that word and the full word’ll appear in your body text.
This was the same case with the previous MU reply box, but not anymore. Interestingly, it still works for me when i switch to the japanese keyboard (i still see suggestions above my text); it looks like only alphabetised keyboards (including english) have this problem now.
Another thing i’m not sure if it’s universal or only happening to me: with this new reply box, i can’t really edit previous paragraphs. The cursor always jumps from to the spot i clicked on to a different place, making it impossible to edit the exact word i wanted. I always end up having to copy the whole text and refreshing the page, THEN pasting it anew and editing what i want right away, or else i wouldn’t be able to edit that previous spot again later. I’ve tried 2 different devices and the problem persists.

Can you be a bit more specific? What is going back to "the top"?

What browser version are you using? Things seem to work fine for me.

I have a list of hundreds of things that I actively read.
I go to the middle of the list, I hit F5 to refresh to check for updates.
Everything on my list disappears for a few moments or longer, shrinking the size of my visible page to less than the size of my screen.
Once the list loads back in, the page is now back at the top of the list instead of the middle where I was before. It does not maintain my scroll position.
I did not have any problems with doing this before this update.

Ok, I think I understand a bit better what's going on. I've put it on my list of things to try to fix.

From what I've used so far (about 15 minutes), I'm pleased with the site update and it's actually increased usability/productivity for me. I had a moment of difficulty with writing reviews and using the new controls like inputting spoilers since I'm used to writing out
and
, and I write my reviews in an external text editor sometimes days in advance before posting them, but I got the hang of it now.

What's the minimum browser requirement with this react version? My main browser is Firefox 89 (win10 OS) and I can't access any page on the site. I get "Something went wrong" error.
I know I'm using an outdated version but is it possible to lower the requirements or use an older react that s it?
I know Mangadex had also updated their react dependencies a couple of months ago but they configured something to allow older browsers to use the site. If something similar can be done I'd appriciate it.
Also the reading list seems be to loading slower now.
Edit: Sorry I saw that I should've post this in the API topic but I can't delete this post.
Edit2: Using the console the 2 errors I get are:
Loading chunk 105 failed
Minified React error #423 https://react.dev/errors/423
