Hey guys (￣▽￣)ノI just read this dj and the guy kinda had a double personality? Like he had this other guy inside him that always took over when bad things were happening and he was like "it's ok if I'm the only one suffering" or something like that. Does that ring a bell for anyone? Is there any manga with such a plot?I kinda want it to be serious. No ecchi. And if the main character is a guy, that would be great. It's ok if there's romance in it as long as it's not the main focus. And yea, I think that's all my preferences.The other one is a pretty typical plot I'm looking for. Character changes? Someone weak loses something important and becomes all strong? Tokyo Ghoul, Tower of God, The Breaker and I guess in a way Pandora Hearts?PS. I LOVE PANDORA HEARTS. Been avoiding it for so long cause it looked like a typical shounen but oh boy, that plot. ( ´ ∀｀)ノ～ ♡Uhmmm I already mentioned some of my preferences. I like action and suspense and I really REALLY like seinen plots and their way of story telling. And can I get some pretty art please?! for your first request i would say the only thing that comes to mind is Legend of the Legendary Hero which is an anime, though it also has a light novel that the anime was based off of Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu (Novel)

I read too many memory-related stories that end up going through this path in a way.

That's put it this way that a person's "previous life" could also act as a double personality. I've read some seinen, but a lot of the seinen I come across don't have these themes as much as the shounen stories that I read.

Some of these are being pulled from my memory thread, which I actually have to update one day.... Gotta add in Black Haze. No doubt. ^__^;

• Stigmata - The MC's original personality comes through at certain times until...spoiler.
• D.Gray-Man - for spoiler reasons (#1 fav shounen/slight seinen-ish manga for me.)
• Black Haze - The MC looks like he may

end up in a similar case, but for now, it's one of his best friends that is able to change his personality on a whim, when he feels threatened. (One of my fav webtoons to date.)

• Tripeace - more like near the end, because the MC clearly use to be the opposite of what the title stood for. (Warning for some sensitive female readers like me: of course, there is some fanservice in here. Easily skippable along with some of the battle scenes that drag out too long.)
• Crepuscule (Yamchi) - Webtoon. The MC goes somewhat beserk later on in the story changing his personality. =_=; You'd like to strangle him though for doing so..... (I would.) I haven't caught up in the story, because of this kind of MC. ... And blast it. I have to change the link in my memory thread for this story.
• Aletheia - Webtoon. The MC is a clone of an assassin, but there's something unique about his DNA that allows the "original personality" to ......spoiler.
• I am reluctant on saying TAL (webtoon), because the second season just makes you go...."ehhh? I'm so confused now". The MC isn't a major focus by that point.
• Karakuri Circus - The MC gets a change in personality later on in the story, to a point that you miss his original personality. Of course, this change isn't permanent, thankfully. (Fanservice alert as well as as a few dragged out filler chapters. But, it's old school shounen. The story still shines through with heart.)
• Would Black Cat count? Ex-assassin turned Sweeper so his personality is different from how he use to be? His "cat-like" eyes show up sometimes when he's in a pinch. (The manga flashbacks a lot compared to the anime.)
• Release - Not completely scanlated, but I have all four volumes and yeah, the MC definitely changes by the end. However, his original personality is different from the one we're introduced to in the story, but his ending personality is also slightly different from the original personality.... Well, that sounded confusing. The story had potential, nonetheless.
• This is another stretch, which is a stretch. Rurou no Tabi's main male MC's original personality is a spoiler. It's more like he changed way before the story began. Great story, regardless.

That's about it from the shounen/seinen side that I can think of for now. I could probably say one more, but the MC, himself, didn't go through any drastic personality change.

You may try Aphorism but rather than having another personality he changes to someone completly different 😀

he got "older", but then, near the end, it changes again.
