Hello there! v1x65

I recently came across a manga by Kuraka Sui which I really really really liked. It's a yaoi, which I very rarely read.

Some sources suggest she published other, non-yaoi, works before...and I am very hungry to read them if possible. I've read her other yaoi works as well now and still want more!

I know it's a super long shot, but if anyone knows or recognises the art style I'd be super grateful to know her other pen name/works!

Here are some G-rated pictures:

And mangaka (reminder: yaoi desu yo): KURAKA Sui

A long shot indeed, but THANK YOU in advance!

More information for anyone bored...

The manga, "Itou-san", just caught my attention and interest somehow. It has a dark undertone, but somehow also felt very endearing to me. It felt like a pure love in a twisted setting (just a little).

Being a yaoi work, it obviously shows sex between males, and it also depicts sexual abuse and average manga level violence. For the above reasons, I know not everyone will reach for the work.

But also, the mangaka herself and others have noted that this work is quite different from most yaoi titles, in style and presentation (a reason why the mangaka was unsure of herself). That doesn't automatically make the manga better!! But it can potentially mean that it is easier for people like me, who are not regular readers of the genre, to enjoy it.

So if this has piqued your interest at all, I would strongly encourage you to take a look.
Itou-san (KURAKA Sui)
Reminder; yaoi, explicit (enough) sex scenes, sexual violence, r18...but I strongly recommend it.
It's only 1 volume, though if you like it enough there's a prequel+sequel Volume 2.

Kuraka Sui's other works, "Sankaku Opera" and "Kyrie -Norowareta Hebi-", didn't draw me in the same way, so I won't go into detail ^^;

I don't have any real confirmation but I saw someone hypothesize that TAKAHASHI Ryo is another of Kuraka Sui's pen names.

After seeing some images of Takahashi Ryo's work, I'm inclined to believe that it may be true. But even Takahashi Ryo doesn't have a lot of works so hopefully this will sate your appetite for her art for now!
