Hey there ^^I am looking for yaoi/shonen-ai where either one of the characters starts as straight, or just didn't realize till the moment he met the other one that he's gay... and is resisting/trying to resist the pull 😉 I want it to have a story... I mean smut+story is the best, but I'd rather read something with no smut and a story than the opposite... 423b6q
It doesn't matter if it's a series or oneshot, but I prefer complete stuff.
Examples that come to my mind...

Kyuuso wa Cheese no Yume o Miru
another thing... I like it when they both look...um... manly 😉

Hmmm I'm sorry if it's in the wrong forum, I wasn't sure whether it should go into Yaoi etc. or "I'm looking for..." since, well... I'm looking for something... thank you for the categories, I am not used to searching like that, so it didn't really occur to me that I can... Thank you!

It's not exactly what you're looking for, but I'd recommend Hamu and the boy who cried wolf. The uke pretends to be straight, and the story is based on the mangaka's personal experience, so it's somewhat realistic.
Even though I ed in 2008, I restarted my lists with only only the manga I've read since 2012 July!

As I said in a recent thread, whenever anyone asks for characters that start out straight I'm always tempted to answer "all of them". 🤣 I call this trope "I'm Straight Except for You". I only read stories in which they look like men, so these fill the second part of your request as well. Varying degrees of resistance, actually, can't . 🤣

I really liked it. It was realistic and kind of sad - It's terrible how some people feel they have to pretend against their nature because of social norms...anyway, I'm glad it was a happy ending 🙂
