@NotTekk, read the spoiler and it looks bad as it seems Jae-Hyuk is now the bad guy in the sequel and I feel sorry for Serin coz it must be a very bad feeling to be locked up by the guy she loves 3p4z3k

The main character still is Jae-hyuk -_- .. he is the current Regis of Chaos and is called Nex. Regis Nex. Serin is locked up and in stasis somewhere in his palace. Jae-hyuk's brother has yet to make an appearance but the author has hinted in Q&A that he will in the future. Diffor (this is how the author spells "Dipore", apparently) is still with Nex (aka Jae-hyuk). You will hear more about Xix/Xi<--they can't seem to stay consistent with the spelling (pronounced "Jjai") soon. Osky isn't a bird: the bird is what he is controlling. Osky is a powerful mage. The serpent queen Yuan and the little girl (won't spoil who she is) are the female protagonists for now, so says the author in his Q&A.

damn it, if jae is that regis nex guy, who massacred towns without regrets, then the chances of him & serin having a happy ending will be less than 0% (damn you manga karma -.-)
i was counting on jae to be at least that xix guy or something....it's borderline ridiculous how he seems to love his brother so much....maybe not in an incestuous way, but almost like an obsession....i can't believe how taking his brother away would cause such a change in his gentle-nature like that....
also, who is ifrita?? she was mentioned as the empress or something, and i though jae hooked up with depore ??? i'd much rather have depore or serin than some other unknown chick, even if she's hot :no:
so many new characters introduced at once, and such drastic changes from the prequel, all in one chapter...

why is Jae-hyuk the bad guy? how can he be the main character if he is the bad guy cuz its not like Death Note...why did the mangaka make him the bad guy, why he gotta do tht, its not fair...i wanted Jae and Serin to be together but now he is the bad guy...i hope he will be good again cuz if it than imo i will hate the manga and its sequel.

I regret reading this manga in all honestly.
Wonderful character, shit plot. Make you hate everything about it, it almost feels like School Days where the dudes make the thing just so you can hate on it.
Well not that bad ... Jae has gotta be the most unreasonable guy ever, and Serin fails at explaining. Really it's just huge misunderstanding and retardation on everyone's part in of relationship.
I'm not even going to read Cavalier of Abyss unless someone can confirm there's a good ending between Jae and Serin. I hate not well thought out manga with terribad ending.

. People don't seem to realize... the artists recently posted saying just why Regis ended so abruptly: poor sales. The series got cut short because of that. But the sales picked back up enough just in time for Abyss to be given the green light.

he should of kept on with immortal regis, instead of creating this shit new sequel..
i for one am not reading it. a change of main characters is lame. the first series was so awsome. i feel like ive completely wasted my time reading it now.
