Is there an apk of this app anywhere? I really rather use MU through a native app and kinda want to see what this looked like.

Yeah, please we need a better app for (manga/Manhwa)'s info from this site for android. Better design to make it easier to search and find many new manga/Manhwa.
I hope someone succeed in doing that.

I searched and found out that there was an app for Baka-Updates Manga on the play store named "Manga Updates - Trends and Information" by hikaru (?) (or Kaihatsu as per mirror websites)

The app works fine, I even logged in and it shows my list.

Yeah this app was the one which i was talking about, The app is great, but need some improvements, for better design, amd feature that enables us to view and open the Manga/Manhwa poster/cover to see it more clearly.

And if they can make it easy to find info about new available manga/Manhwa, 

The app will be better if these features (like those in the site) were there, too in the app

: If they add the feature which enables us in the app to : 

1- search manga for the recently added manga. New Manga/Manhwa.
2- search manga by magazine.
and 3- by Release Date.
4- without search, if we could see and (filter by) in All manga available in the datebase. Not just the Library.

What i mean is an app for Manga info, in addition to follow/add manga that we prefer to our library/collection/List.

With Status like (Reading, completed planning, dropped, considering, on Hold, & last something we can add/create ourselves).

Also The very important things are, headlines whether public headlines outside for all the manga & headlines specific inside that manga info (any related news about that Manga) 

& preferences and Sort by especially recently added.
