You're starting to worry me, my tomodachi.

Anywayz.... If I accidentally invent a mecha, I'll make sure you're first in line for a test drive. 😀

Apparently I suck at sarcasm over the internet 😛 .

I should worry you though, I have entirely too much free time. We all know how dangerous that can be.

It would not have happened if Lelouch hadn't used his geass. It's not really a chance thing, Suzaku would absolutely never make a conscious decision to drop it, that's just his character.

I would have agreed with you on this if it weren't for the last scene of episode 17 where he was already considering on using it on Lelouch. But then again, maybe I'm just reading to deeply into things... 🤣

but on the other hand, if lelouch hadn't of cast his geass on suzaku.....chances are that might not of happend....but to put most of the blame on him is ridiculous to me, even if it was his geass that may have caused suzaku to do what he did

\

But on the other hand, if Lelouch altered the order slightly like "Suzaku, Protect me!"
This tragic incident wouldn't happen...

Dislike? Hate? No, neither one of those.

I DESPISE him.

His notion of doing everything the right and "just" way sickens me. I don't care if it's his way of repentance for committing patricide or w/e, it's just...argh. It actually makes me wonder how there are actually people who likes him...I find it hella weird.

I haven't watched R2 yet but I heard he got his ass whooped....that made my day :haha:

I dislike the anti-anti-hero~ 😀

i kinda voted the wrong one ><" im stupid that way so dont hurt me plz

well suzaku is the most hateble main char ive seen so far cuz the fact he uses nunnaly against lelouch just proved he deserves to rot in hell ( i was like OMFG NOOOOOOO at that part in the second season) but its not like the char isnt acceptable....actually i like how all his actions have reasons and that he probably is just doing what he thinks is right like lelouch BUT i can still hate him for that cant i? 😁

suzaku knew he has live on geass. yet he carry the bomb. its %65 his fault. other thing. if lulu didnt do something like that he would have been killed by suzaku. you cant make sense when someone pointing a gun at your face. maybe you can. afterall you are just like suzaku.arrogant. wont think consequence. just carry the bomb like you wont fire it. then blame it on lulu like he did entire series. everything lulus fault. sory for bad english

i dont like where series going. suzaku should have been killed in s1. i have a feelings they are going to try teach us some moral lessons like death note.in otherwords meaningless, waste of time .only hotaru no haka can make positive impact on your life. i dont like suzaku cause he doesnt fit the code geass atmosphere. its like suzaku as the main character instead of gatsu in berserk. 😀

I always wonder why people hate Suzaku so much. I mean he did forgive Lelouch, he was about to help him before he was betrayed. I mean come on. How many guys forgive someone for killing they're girlfriend and then try to team up with them again? And Suzaku is a necessity in the world of code geass. Someone has to have morals in the world, and without Suzaku the story wouldn't be as good. I mean come on. The Hero needs a rival. And the rival obviously has to have pretty much an opposite way of doing things, otherwise they'd be comrades. And Suzaku's way of changing brittania is better in the long run. What kind of society will come if it's formed through death and destruction? Sure things would be better at first but over time the entire thing would just repeat itself and a new rebellion leader would probably spring up. This being said I honestly like Suzaku partially because he's a really good knightmare pilot.

I like him! xD Yup, adding my two cents to the smaller camp. I'll openly confess that Suzaku is plain-out my favorite CG character. 'Nuff said.

As for why... I can't say that the fact most people dislike him hasn't played a part in this. xDD After all, I'm stubborn. I like him precisely because so many people don't.

But I also like Suzaku because he's screwed up, and with him and Lulu, this anime has managed to create a pretty realistic situation. I mean, come on, in how many anime series have you seen sides that are both equally right, in a way? To the point where you can't actually determine who's doing the better thing and such. If there even is a 'better'. I see you people have been debating the latest episode here, and in the end, to me the conclusion seems to be that Suzaku and Lelouch are both to blame for what happened. That proves my point.

I think that Suzaku is just as right AND just as wrong as Lelouch, only in a different way. It seems to me like they're pretty much guilty of the same crimes. Do you even notice that it's not just Suzaku who's fighting against his own country and who killed his own family? Lelouch did and is doing the same. It doesn't matter that their reasons are different, they did end up doing the same thing. These two are mirrors of each other.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is that liking one or the other more comes down to each person's way of thinking and/or moral code. It's a personal choice. For me, it was Suzaku. xD

Now look what you did? You made come back and post some more insanely long posts 😛

Ok. I have to agree that the Emperor is the only person who can order around the Knights of Round. But I mean would you decline if the son of that man who can orders you, gives you an order? Probably not, unless it is some totally insane order. It wouldn't make you look too good in front of others, or at least that's what I think.

To be honest, Lelouch is the one to blame. He did place the geass on him and now he wants him dead. Obviously nothing good can become of that. Lelouch was also the one who pushed Suzaku to the edge under the influence of geass. And Suzaku, as I've said in my earlier post, didn't have choice. Though I have to it that Suzaku probably wouldn't have used Freiya (like this name more than FLEIA) if Nina wouldn't have said that it would save him. And yes, Suzaku was prepared to die than use Freiya, so it was 100% geass' fault. Only thing Suzaku didn't do, was retreat. That's pretty much the only thing you can blame him for.

And now to original topic.. I just don't like Suzaku, can't really say why. I guess it's because he is the typical "hero". And in the S2 Suzaku's been whining more and more. I really hate angst character. The main character of .Hack//SIGN was angst enough for one life time. In S1 he was ok because he determined and all. But Lelouch does what he says and he uses brains instead of muscle, which quite nice change for while. Usually all the heroes are all-around types or just the muscle type. It's nice to see someone really thinking about things. Just like me 😀

Don't take me wrong here. I just enjoy a good debate. It's not like I'm a die hard fan of Code Geass, even though it is the best series currently airing. It's rather rare to be able to properly discuss about something. It's quite fun to watch something "intelligent". The usual shounen series, which I enjoy very much, are only about fighting and rarely offer anything intellectually challenging. To be honest I can't think of any other series than Geass that does that. So let's not take this too seriously just enjoy a good debate, right? 😀
