i'm looking for something funny.....a school life or a slice of life, something like uhhh..... Clannad, or Genshiken, or Moyashimon, or Kurenai?, but without the romance.....well actually i guess it can have romance, i dont really care aslong as it's not like overly dramatic...preferably not a shounen or shoujo.....i'd like a seinin or josei, either would be good 46243
and also i'd like something thats just great....dont really care what it is or what it's about though, as long as it's not an action (not in the mood for another action)....oh yeah, and i dont want any shounen-ai or Yaoi,....there just not for me, so yeah.... thanx, i'll appreciate the help
wait...actually now that i think about, i could go for an Adventure also, yeah that would work too.......so yeah an adventure, so it could be shounen or shoujo for this one....... so any or all of these 3 recommendations would help alot

You could try School Rumble or Angel Densetsu. Didn't see them on your lists.... but both are considered shounen.
And Yotsubato! is the funniest thing ever, IMO!!... appeals more to older readers, for some reason.... and kids hate it, which should mean it's good.
My brain ain't working right now..... I'll try to add some more later.

i've seen the animes of Mushishi YKK and some Gunslinger girl...though i didnt to much care for it.....but Mushishi was fucking dope by the way, one of my favorite animes.... so i'll check out Blood Alone and this Nijigahara Holograph, though i should of mentioned i was looking for something on the lengthy side...atleast 5volumes...but thanx again

GTO -> shounen, but it's one of the funniest manga ever.
Mahoraba -> maybe a little too romance oriented, but it's funny and slice of life

You could also try King of Thorns (has action btw), Homunculus, Milk Closet (weird) or Ai-Ren
Bitter Virgin, but I suspect you may have read this.... everyone else has.
Whattabout 20th Century Boys or Monster
BTW.... Gunslinger Girl and YKK are vastly superior to their anime counterparts. (both quite lengthy)
If you like something a bit morbid/gritty, try Smuggler.... I'm currently reading Bradherley's Coach. So far so good. (both 1shots, BTW)
If you want a light-hearted seinen romance with some simple comedy, try Living Game (complete... 10 vol)
and I second Eternal Sabbath.... also Mars by the same author

Seigi no mikata - Josei, quite fun.
Gintama - It's shounen I think, but the most funny manga I had read lately.

Gokusen - School teacher with a yakuza background wreak havoc in a highchool, plenty of laugh for you with a little sprinkle of romance hehe...

thanx thanx... and i've seen the animes of beck and gokusen........loved beck 1 of my favorites, and gokusen one fairly good too.....so i'll check them out
and mehh... dont really like the art style of love roma, but i'll see how the content holds up....and i added seigi no mikata, hotman, and pluto.,....saw like the first 2episodes of gintama, didnt find it very funny...but preciate it
