Many would argue that there is no pedo stuff here, that the MC never touch any of the little girls. Well let me enlighten you, it's not what the MC does, it's what the author showed you, and what did he showed you? He wrote a lot about "and then she took of her clothes and there is nothing underneath, but because it's a body that's not yet mature I hav no interest and avert my gaze" or something like "and then she took her clothes of and enter the bath with me, but because she just a little girl, it felt like taking a bath with relatives" and many more. So yeah, it's a pedo novel, it had so many naked under age girls and sexual situations with them.

And what surprised me is that many people that like this novel would say that the MC is a good guy. Well he is not, on the maze arc when he rescue mia, he goes out of his way to save a homunculus (basically not human), why? Because she was a big breast beauty, that's it. And after that when he was in that country with that fake consul (a demon) he basically let thousands of human soldiers died although he could easily saves them, why? Probably because he can't find a big breast beauty among them, or pretty underage girl.

I actually don't mind this kind of story, a very light story without main plot, ones where I can put down and pick up anytime I want. But the thing is, every time this pedo stuff happens, it throw me out of the story. A pity, because I actually like the premise.

Why are you still reading this? I'm not saying this as a er, I dropped this ages ago. Why didn't you? The main characters strongest appeal to most ers is that he sleeps with women. A lot of people look up to him simply because he has sex. When the main characters most distinctive feature is that, with everything else being things they HAVE, like harem of loli's or cheats, it should have been obvious that it's lacking.

Honestly, what killed it for me is that he doesn't behave anything like the way he's supposed too, given his previous life. As a programmer, he should have had our code of ethics drilled into him. We focus on the Utilitarianisms. As a game(r)(designer), he should approach a level based skill system with the up-most caution, since it's designed to limit the individual to force multiplayer. His background says he should proceed with caution but he just acts in whatever way would show off the system or his advantages without firm forethought.

serious question here. What kept into this for so long? You noticed that this is just part of the trope life cycle for hetare harem protagonist, right? All that happened is that people got tired of cheaply made stories of women swarming shallow useless guys. So they try to reverse it and made a story about a women swarming shallow powerful guys. The skill and creativity of the people writing is still the same. They're just trying to follow the flow, not make or build on it.

The same reason I still read Stellar Transformation from time to time, because there is nothing else to read.

I start reading this a while back, and I like it at first, but when "that" stuff start showing, I dropped it and moved to the next LN. Now, while i'm between releases of LN/WN that i actually liked, i would usually go back to this, and start resuming reading, skipping the ero stuff.

And special mention for Mushoku Tensei, one of the best LN i've ever read, great story telling and structure, interesting and developed characters, a believable main plot with villain with reasons. Probably would be my no. 1 LN if not for... harem girls.

At the end of the day, LN is written for teenagers demograph, I understand that. It just frustrating that they have to make sex (or in this instance, sex with under age girl) as main attraction. I'm a normal guy, but I usually read/watch porn for that kind of thing, and expect good story and fantasy from this kind of novel. Rants end.
