This a general question about why there are scanlating groups skipping ahead of in chapters and volumes. I've seen it on not only on Chihayafuru ちはやふる but also Denpa Kyoushi　でんぱきょうし and a couple of others? Is it because the scanlating is so far behind that a new group picks up from current JUMP or which ever magazine is the publisher 😕 5e475p

How about asking those groups who are scanlating them? I am sure they would have their own reasons, and it's likely they would have explained them on their site/forum.
