Well, I have had this for years, and this is the first time I've been inclined to actually post.. .. .What bullshit... 5c1j65

Yeah...it kinda undermined the whole arc...
There seems to be no meaning to Fairy Tail's tournament victory
No point in Future Lucy's existence
No consequence to Jellal and his band of rejects stalking the tournament all these years
No point of Ultear's so called sacrifice
And no point of the existence of Dragon Slayers...they couldn't take down a single dragon!

Mashima has been disappointing me. The last few arcs started off really well, but they all ended poorly... But this one got the prize... That was worse than bad.

I actually thought it wasn't that bad, it caused massive destruction, hurt numerous people and left them with the real impression of how weak they really are compared to the dragons. It definitely had an anticlimactic end , but who knows if it's really the end, and the tournament was still awesome. Then again I'm a bit of a biased fan 🙂

You sure you understand the whole time paradox thing? If Ultear dident sacrifice herself then gray would have died and everyone would not have gained that min of forewarning which means that Natsus battle could have been much different. in order for things to happen in a certain way alot of little things must happen its an extension of something called the butterfly effect and there was a purpose in future Lucy it was to die in frount of natsu thus giving him the will and pourpus of stoping the light shadow dragon slayer and as for the dragon slayers not being able to slay a single dragon I think was for future power ups for them (because they get stronger when they kill a dragon as the light and shadow ones did)
