When a manga you liked reading writes in something you find repulsive that kills your interest, how do you handle it?

⚪️ Skip many (many) chapters ahead and try re-engage with the series
⚪️ Stop reading it for a long time and re-read it much later on

I recently did a count of how many different manga series I am reading. Turns out I am currently reading...126 different series. Yikes. I knew that was more than normal, but I also thought that a "normal" amount would be around 5, so...now I'm wondering what other people are doing.

If I've made a thread in the "I'm Looking For..." forum, I am only interested in Japanese manga. I am not interested in non-Japanese media at this time.
