[spoiler]i really loved this novel up till vol 6 but i just couldnt take it anymore when 13r54

kirito starts whining about having killed someone in SAO and is getting way too close to a girl who isn his GF i'll it its been a good while since i read it tho so i might be putting it down more than it actually deserves or i could have just forgotten other things i felt like it was trolling me on

anyway for those who know what im talking about my question is simple : does it get good again or does it just keep going in that dislikable direction?

I've read up to vol 8. In vol 7 Kirito had very minor role as the whole book focuses on Asuna. Vol 8 is just a compilition of 3 side stories, 2 of them took place in SAO, and 1 took place in ALO. I haven't started on vol 9 yet.
