A weird bug: I added High School Inari Tamamo-chan to a magazine Comic Rex, but it's not showing in the magazine series' list at https://mangaupdates.conexionsite.com/publishers.html?pubname=Comic+Rex

Same thing happened to Shishidou-san ni Shikararetai that is missing in Manga 4-koma Palette, despite being tagged for it. Seems like the database refuses to add series/change magazine lists, when you update the "Serialized In (magazine)" section for series that already have entries on this site.

I see it there. Probably just caching. I'll see if I can tweak the settings today.

Seeing a weird bug that started yesterday. There were 2 new chapters of Saenai Riman to Yankee Joshi Kousei released on 2/28, and while they're showing up on the scanlator page and the series page, they're not showing up on the main release page, at least not for me. The series is on my reading list too, so there should be nothing that's filtering it from me seeing it.

I just checked your genre filters, and the series in question does have one of the genres you have filtered. That genre was added to the series on 2/16. Perhaps I should modify the filters to ignore filtering if the item is on one of your reading lists?

That's weird, because I've been reading this from the beginning, and I've never had issues with it showing up on the release page. This is the first time it has happened.

Also, I was under the impression that books you had on your reading list already ignored any filters you might have set up? At least, that's the way it seemed to work up until now.

The genre that you have filtered was just added a few days ago, is what I was trying to say.

As for it never being an issue before, we completely rewrote the back end, so it's possible we missed that. I will implement a exclusion for series on reading lists.

The Advanced Search function used to what you selected or typed in if you clicked back in your browser after being unsatisfied with your results. I now get a wiped page if I return to specify my search further or if I want to change parameters.

I also read EU/US comics and am a librarian.

Hey manick, can you check if the tag removal still works? So I tried the mass combine, after that I just left because I thought it would add up as usual. Now I check the tag is gone, but the other exist tag is not increasing in usage (I before it's 99, it should be 100-ish including the new ones). I can't explain much since I also forgot not to note the list of manga that was in the old tag. In short, my problem here: I feel unsure both in the number and the change lol 😔 the tags I'm talking about are "Transported from Another World" and "Reverse Isekai"
