Negima!!!! 2i1d2e

Mostly because I'm a fantasy fan!!! The fantasy world arc of the series is the biggest hit for me. Plus the cool outfits and weapons. I love fighting scenes..... 🤣 😀

Negima for me. I love the romance blended with action and magic. 🙂

[a] Ken Akamatsu is a really good mangaka. And I like both the series. However, I must put my vote on Love Hina. It's still one of my favourites and the first i'll ever read. Everytime I read it I get nostagic.
The comedy is a bit sharper and the plot is somwhat more realistic (I'm having a hard time exepting cute and childich characters).

No offense to doze who loves Negima, it's really good to! 😃

I loved Love Hina, where as i couldn't get into Negima no matter how much i tried. I dropped it 3 times already at volumes 8, 12, 25. Really wanted to like it but i couldn't.

I don't care how "mature" negi behaves, so the premise failed to hook me in. Sorry for the fans but it wasn't for me.

Love Hina for sure... Negima is just too Shotacon for my tastes....

I prefer Love Hina. I used to like Negima but lose interest in it when the whole tournament thing started.

I love Negima! but I accidentally voted on Love Hina. I'm a huge sucker for ecchi-centered action romance stuff like the former and Seikon no Qwaser.

Shotacon? I don't think that means what you think it means.

Between the two - Love Hina. A more solid story plot and deeper characters.

Negima is a testament to what a good shounen series should aspire to - strong foreshadowing, a plot that was planned years in advance, and twists and turns that don't come out of nowhere, but were instead hinted at 200 chapters earlier.

I sincerely wish Akamatsu's work could get a lot more love, if only to show appreciation for genre awareness and proper story planning that so many mangaka lack.

Love Hina was one of my first manga so it holds a place in my heart - seems like most of it was executed to perfection. I prefer Love Hina over Negima and probably would regardless of what's happening in Negima - but it doesn't help that Negima is ending so soon and abruptly. There was still a lot of potential there that won't ever be tapped into.
