e.g. I want to search series that has the word Blue, but exclude "Blue Archive". But I can't do that here. 5e4q6u
If I query Blue -Archive
I'll still get Blue Archive
.
Right now, the only way to get it done is through Google Search, instead of in-site search.
However, by doing so, I cannot filter by categories and tags, which become very inconvenient for me.
I'd also like the feature to search from published date in a range. Rationale: I have noticed that older reviews from before 2013 tend to be less stringent and most series rated around 8~ are about equivalent to series rated 6~ if they are reviewed from the standards from 2020. There's a shift in attitudes of reviews.

Title search is wonky too!
I look for an exact partial phrase of a title, and I get multiple jumbled variations of the keywords, before I (maybe) get the actual title I want.
MU and NU are siblings in kind, maybe web page/ data base techs can copy Novel Updates' Search function.
I find I have to use Google and put the title phrase within quotes, then +"mangaupdates" in quotes, to get the direct MU title entry.
Cheers!
