Jack Sparrow-like main character. 473h4l

Something i've noticed is that there are far too few funny, but unscrupulous main characters in manga. However that is exactly what i'm looking for. Something like Jack Sparrow. n153q
I am having little luck so far though. The closest i've come would probably be Spike from Cowboy Bebop. Could be similar to Oga from Beelzebub, but maybe a bit smarter.
Any genre will do, as long as he is the main character, and not a foil, like Hiruma from Eyeshield 21 (who is awesome, by the way).
Any help would be greatly appriciated! 😀

I think it would be helpful if you wrote in what way exactly you want the character to be similar to Jack Sparrow.
I thought of Asada from Iryuu - Team Medical Dragon... and all the guys from Saiyuki, but I don't know if these are good suggestions...

Ah, sorry about that, I guess i'll try to elaborate then. What i'm looking or is this:
Imagine a character who is a cruel, violent, pragmatic and manipulative bastard. Now make this character somewhat sympathic, by giving him charisma, humor and maybe a nice-streak, once in a rare while. A dry-witted snarker is preferable.
He doesn't have to be exactly like this, though.
Another character that fits the bill is Joukyuu from AIKI.
Desert punk is a really good one. Unfortunatly, there's a shortage of manga scanlations. 😢

Well, I am currently reading Zippy Ziggy. It's awesome.
I am also reading Ares. I like Michael, even though he is a bit to stoic for my taste.

Also, Aspirin could be what you're looking for.
Oresama Teacher if you're fine with shoujo (the male lead is the one I'm talking about)

Violinist of Hameln should fit; and maybe also Gintama. (Not so sure about the latter, though.)
There's also Taimashin, which fits perfectly; unfortunately, the scans have stalled and are unlikely to continue.
