Anything but Yaoi, Hentai or Yuri. 3u5s16

Titles you consider as true gems out of whatever reason. Since I'm having a hard time finding something decent lately, I beg of your help. You can also take a look at my list and suggest something that might match my (bad?) taste. Everything I've rated 7+ means good.

Thanks in advance :]

Is it OK to suggest ongoing stuff?
my personal favorites: (that should be ok to read for almost everyone)
Bonnouji
Otoyomegatari
Yumekui Merry
14-sai no Koi
Taiyou no Ie
Horimiya

completed stuff:
Double Arts
Melo Holic
Bitter Virgin
Hana to Akuma
Hoshi no Samidare

you seem to have pretty much old/basic stuff on your lists, you could try something new...

I second Lorska's suggestions. Here are some additional stories that I've savoured:

Completely scanlated:

Seishun Kouryakuhon by AKIZUKI Sorata
Wistful and nostalgic story on high school life.

MATSUMOTO Tomo's Kiss
A subtle depiction of the growth of an age gap couple.

Ichigo no Gakkou by SATOU Nanki/ KIZUKI Akira
Realistically portrayed aftermath of a student-teacher relationship.

Itoshi no Kana by TANAKA Yutaka
Harmonious slice of life pondering about life and death.

MORI Kaoru's Emma
Same mangaka as Otoyomegatari. Well-grounded slice of Victorian life and love.

Game Over (MIZUTANI Fuka)
Endearing short series by the mangaka of 14-sai no Koi about the different stages in a relationship.

Made in Heaven by SAKURAI Ami/ YASHIKI Yukari
Two perspectives on a couple's conclusion; set in a bleak future.

MORIE Satoshi's Hakuji
About the obsessive bond between a painter and his muse. Sensual.

Usotsuki Mi-kun to Kowareta Ma-chan: Totteoki no Uso by IRUMA Hitoma/ SATOU Atsuki
Gripping and well-executed murder mystery with a twist.

Tada, Kimi o Aishiteru by ICHIKAWA Takuji/ YOSHINO Aki
Gentle slice of life about a bittersweet romance.

Ongoing series:

Blood Alone by TAKANO Masayuki
Uniquely balanced slice of life and mystery story.

MOTOMI Kyousuke's Dengeki Daisy
Well-known, amusing and mysterious shoujo about a hacker and an orphan.

Gangsta. by Kosuke
Dark portrayal of two handymen in a fictional ghetto.

KOMURA Ayumi's Usotsuki Lily
Hilarious gag manga with lots of self-mockery.

Full Metal Panic! Σ by GATOU Shouji/ Shikidouji and UEDA Hiroshi
Mecha series alternating between funny high school life and thrilling battle scenes.

Its pretty hard to say whats a true gem since its pretty subjective but these days, I've enjoyed reading Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha.

Arisa is another one of my favorites that I've enjoyed and finished recently. It's not your typical shoujo so don't let that miss lead you to not read it.

You gave 9 to Pluto and 8 to Aria. So Monster and YKK. You didn't read anything by Shirodaira Kyou 🙁 . Try something like Vampire Juujikai or Spiral. Feel free to browse my lists for more. Just be aware that my true gem is Gunslinger Girl that you rated bad, how could you 🤢 .
