so i just read volume 1 and have some questions 5l4754

1.Why did Doris turn into a whimp all of a sudden
what i mean is

about halfway in she just say for no reason that Im getting weaker and weaker
pretty soon i wont be able to hold[some heavy object i forgot what it was lol]

i was thinking allready back then Why? she is not getting old-old and she is not turning into a child

but i put that aside and hoped she was referring to the fact that she was bitten by a vampire

but then at the end
she goes all...oh i cant carry on the farm/fight anymore
now you have to do all the work...my 8year old little brother...
...
so why
i know japanese men have a very weird way of looking at females but...wtf
she gets horney and wants to do the dirty with vampireboy so all her strength just up and leaves
or did she become ill from the bite ? did i miss that part? plz help lol

2.if D was so godlike to begin with as he later turned out to be
why the hell dident he just kill the count right away...its just so silly to just deus ex machina right in ur face
i know they tricked him the first time around but why dident he just go back right away and kill them...no he spends weeks helping out in the farm after that that was just ...BAD

3.the animated movie
omg i like i think most...saw the movie before i read the novel...its so diffrent that its not even funny

is it alowed to just alter pretty much every detail of the original work and still call it the same

i mean i give them Count Lee and maybe even D...but not one character was done after the novel
they mushed garou and rin-ginsey together,they removed rins team,they added characters
most if not all of their clothes,hair,looks were altered and pretty much the whole story was changed...part thanks to the characters being so very diffrent and thy never explained anything that happened or why it happened

i just her "weakening" state up to her being in love with and relying so much on him so much, the first time she's relied on anyone since her father died.

as far as why D didn't just kill the count right off, first off D's not too proud of his Vampire heritage as he only ever uses his powers in emergencies and second if did just kill the Count at the start we probably wouldn't have much of a story.

If you think the departure of the first film from the book is big wait till you read the 3 book which the second movie is based on if my memory serves.

but...she becomes unable to function

page 1-150 she is a strong girl who takes care of herself and her brother
she runs the farm
she is what seems to be one of the better fighters in her town and she is able to survive fighting monsters every day to protect the farm

page 150-to end
she falls in love
becomes weak
cant do anything
from the conversations she had with her bother it seems all she is capable of now is cleaning the house and taking care of foodmaking

i just dont get why she becomes totaly useless after falling in love
30-40s hollywood and still modernday japan i guess

but if you make deus ex machina endings like that
i should not have been too upset by Doris turning into a vegetable

and another thing
even if the movie is far worse in most cases
its still have a better last fight between Lee and D and it treats Doris with better respect than the author

started reading volume 2 today
WTF
its a small village with 200ppl living in it
i would assume that everyone knows each other and have so for generations
yet
an elite force of the youth brigade[a group of younger men if memory serves me they where 8] a proud fighting force
what do they do as soon as they see a girl of 17? from the village? who some of them is probably related to since they are such a small village
they try to rape her
wtf
they just climbed this magic hill,they are there to kill vampires or burn the castle on its top to the ground
but as soon as they see a small girl
all they wanna do is rape

she of course gets rescued by D
after almost getting gang raped
she does not even think about this
its not like she brakes down from this horrible thing that almost happened to her
she does not explain what happened to the sherif in town nor does she tell her father? the Mayor of the village she does not even give it another thought
all she does think about is how to get D to have sex with her

so plz help me out here
is the rest of the novels gonna be just as weird and treat woman like rapetoys
and/or men who try to rape every girl they see
when you consider how the woman behave...its like they deserve being raped...scary

does he at all change in his style of writing or are woman just as useless/in the way/horney as in Alan Moores comic books?

i just finished reading vol 6
my god
i had to take a 6 year long break
the fist 5 volumes hurt my brain

the 6th is perhaps the worst so far

will they get better?
i mean the constant nonsensical endings and motivation and thinking of characters is just awful
