I'm actually really enjoying the anime. o-o Episode 13 left me at a cliffhanger. RAINSCENE PLZ XD 4q1124

I just want the damn rain scene >_>

But whatever... =P I can wait. n.n

Either way it's a really good series and people should check it out! Naoki WILL piss you off, but just pause, curse him out for a few seconds, take a deep breath and continue watching. XD
And about Spoiler 13...

WTF KINCHAN? From annoying asshat to freaking rapist. Why does it always have to be "I SHALL RAPE YOU SO YOU FORGET ABOUT HIM, BUT ALSO THE FACT YOU WONT LOVE ME BACK ME IF I RAPE YOU IS NON-EXISTANT IN MY HEAD". Of course, nothing will be as epic as the boat scene. =o

Better art than the manga so I'm following the anime...

Also, the preview for ep 14 gives off a sign that Irie is gonna propose to Kotoko

I already spoiled myself (yay Wikipedia and volume summaries!) so I already knows what happens. XD But for those that MUST read spoilers...

Yes he does propose. And then Kin chan and Chris have... A thing... although I guess they put Chris together as Naoki's omiai partner thing since originally it was supposed to be some other girl and Chris didn't appear till much later. ^^;

Quite good but i just can't erase 'empty' feel in my head. The ending song is good though.

I'm a bit disappointed with the anime. The first episodes were okay but the I think the rain scene is coming too soon. It just feels like the story is developing too fast 😔

real talk....i didn't even expect them to start going out so soon.....much less

get married

alot of shoujo's have plots that barely move....but this one may be moving to fast, but i like it....it's a good anime, and Irie's mom cracks me the fuck up

alot of shoujo's have plots that barely move....but this one may be moving to fast, but i like it....it's a good anime, and Irie's mom cracks me the fuck up Keep in mind they're trying to cram 23 volumes (and more, since they're going for the author's planned ending - which I'm SUPER excited for) into 26 episodes. Most animes only cover 6-8 volumes in 26 episodes. So that's why it's going so fast.

What makes ItaKiss stand out from other shoujo series is that it doesn't stop once the main chars get together... Didn't think I'd ever hear someone complain about the fact that it does so. I love it because I don't have the ask myself the "what happens next" question, and I know for sure what DOES happen next.

If I may say so, the author died at the worst possible place ever...

Naoki asks Kotoko if he knocked her up (sorry, I just gotta say it that way since it makes him sound like a wild horndog xD) pregnant and then Kaoru Tada DIES? OH GOD.

So you should understand why I'm super excited for the ending of the anime. I wonder when it'll derail from the manga. Ep 19 is @ v16, and from the looks of it, ep 20 is the second half of v16, and maybe cutting a bit of v17... And they still have the whole actual doctor shit. >> So if they skip bits and parts (v19 can prob be skipped altogether, though I'm hoping they'll sneak the Naoki & Kotoko's father convo in some other episode. >> Must...have...Naoki...acting...like...a...hubby... (and cheesy fuck).

BUT REALLY... I'm guessing they'll derail ep 24-25ish. x3 Hopefully they just don't cram the ending in one episode...

I need to see Kotoko during her pregnancy, fuck yea.

k I'm done.

on another note, ItaKiss was an inspiration to creators of Marmalade Boy and Fruits Basket for said series. :>

I really loved the anime, and I'm sad to hear the author of the manga died... 🙁

I much prefer the manga sailor moon artist style then the one they choose for the anime. kotoko is so much more cuter then the anime. If Someone else like madhouse would create another adaptation for this series I would say the character designer of sailor moon would be more fitting for this series. Bit late to the party I know but it nice to see some people did enjoy it,

haven't seen it yet but I had watched all of Aishite Knight which it was alright
if I recall there was a lot of perception gags where characters see a scene and immediately jump to conclusions about it; which I hear happens quite a lot when doki doki is involved

I just couldn't get into this manga or Anime. I'm thinking of revisiting it in the future to see if I was merely temporally challenged.

I actually watched more of the drama than the anime. Yet, I abandoned that too at the graduation party episode.
