I think a lot of people don't even have any expectation, or they could want a bf/gf but it end up just a casual fling. It can't be that planned out you know. So they just act naturally and go for the attraction.

I don't think that is necessarily true. Personally, I have been in situations where I have completly planned what I wanted the outcome from said person to be. Like I have walked into a bar wanting to meet someone for that night and that being it. Nothing more, nothing less. Also I have had summer flings where I knew going into the relationship that thats all that it would be. This is not to say that relationships can't grow into something or not grow into anything. But personally I have known what outcome I have wanted from pretty much every relationship I have ventured into. I was just saying that you approach people differently depending on the outcome you want from them. If I wanted a one-night then I would approach that person differently than someone that I would want to date.

And it's like maybe they like me or maybe they're just like that to every guy. So I don't imply anything, just talk casually 😎 This also means they DON'T know of my semi-otakuness (the other half is forced to do way too much homework and has no time to be an otaku). And if they said no, it'd become a rumor or something and ruin my life 😛

First I would become good friends with them. Just hang out maybe a club together and do lots of crazy fun stuff. Then I'll ask them to meet me in front of school alone and I'll say something like 'you know ponytails kinda turn me on'

I did see someone reading something that looked like a graphic novel so I went to take a look, but when I got closer it was too thin to be one so I just went back on my way. He wasn't cute anyway lol.

i guess like any normal girl would do. it´s been a long while since i did it tough.
but for girls it is usually best to find out what kind of girls the guy likes who you are heading for and then act likethis kind once you meet.

But seriously, idk. I've never tried; I've always been the one getting hit on. For people in general who seem fun to talk to, I just cheerfully start a conversation about anything. With the anything heavily emphasized. Just make sure you have a question mixed in somewhere to cue a conversational response, otherwise they just smile at you silently and think you wanted to make a random statement.
A good way to practice talking to strangers is conversing with a friendly-looking grocery store cashier. 😃

I try to make friends, and see where things go from there. But then, I'm looking for long-term, and I think long-term relationships work better when you're friends as well as lovers. I would probably do things differently if I just wanted someone to sleep with me.
