What's that all about? I'm so confused with the name now... 4h704n

"Wakusei" is the kanji in the logo (惑星) but isn't actually part of the title. Correct title is "Hoshi no Samidare". "Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer" is what the author wants the English title to be, not that it's getting licensed. "Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer", "Babylon", and "Blues Drive Monster" are all song names from The Pillows.

And now I have to go listen to those songs =P

Thanks though. That pretty much clears my confusion.

I think Wakusei was a hidden interpretation, since Samidare calls herself a demon lord of sorts, akin to Lucifer, and wakusei is some sort of demon as well.

Ohhh, that makes even more sense now. The whole double-meaning thing. I like it. Thanks for the explanations guys!

Wakusei means "Planet" and Hoshi means "Star". "Wakusei no Samidare" could mean the main character ("Samidare of the Earth"?), while "Hoshi no Samidare" means the meteor shower at the beginning of chapter 64 ("May shower of the stars").

I see. My bad.
I had the scene when she announces herself as Satan in my mind, and since Wakusei has AKU inside and the english interpretation has Lucifer, I took it for granted 😛

I never said I was sure, though 😁

Wouldn't it, rather, be just... SUMIDARE'S PLANET?
