So Viz licensed Psyren quite a while ago and people were saying that vol. 1 would be released in December. The problem is that in their website they have a complete list of the releases until January 2011 and Psyren is not there...

My question: does anyone know when the first vol. will be released??

That's not their complete list, they add stuff intill the month hits. And they may have renamed it. I'd check out all there new stuff and see if it's there.

it says psyren'll come out 12/7/2010 in Bakuman vol 2 so 12/7/10 it should be out

On animenewsnetwork, I relooked at the article, it did say that: "Simon & Schuster and Amazon's listings do not necessarily indicate definite release plans or dates."
Hopefully, they didn't decide to become total assholes and drop said-license.
That'd make me sad 🙁 .
I'm going on the small glimmer of hope that they possibly just pushed the date back a little.

lol. well, it is completed so hopefully they'll release a volume every two months. i've heard great stuff about this series so i'm really looking forward to it.

Well, my local comic book store had it listed as arriving this friday from the us, so it's actually real now. Whoah! I'll be picking it up this weekend, finally. (Wow, actually buying manga 😛 )
