1. I want to see how Team Summer B 'settle down', built their own village! and I wonder how their village will look like! LOL!...why do I get the impression that their village will not be a 'normal village'?

2. So far we can tell Semimaru has established his own role as the team's 'cook', it'll be great to know how far he's going to accomplish his role. Will he learn how to hunt?
   Natsu's in charge with writing notes on their food safety..whatelse can she do?

I'm dying to know how Matsuri's going to do with the soy seeds.
Will Ryo and Ango be staying with them? (I sure hope so!!)
And will Team Summer B keep in touch with other Teams?

3. I hope Tamura sensei will tell us the whereabouts of the other Team Spring !

Especially Hana, Chisa and Fujiko...I want them to reunite again!

4. I hope Project 7 seeds will be a success and they're going to leave descendants!
   Knowing how awesome and detailed Basara's ending is, I hope Tamura sensei will tell us more about the future that awaits mankind. Regardless if the manga will have a happy or tragic ending.

Oh god! Please make it a happy ending!!! (o)

8. I'm dying to know if there are other survivors from other countries? Will Tamura-sensei introduce them in the future?..possibly at the ending?

Omgsh, everything you mentioned is gold!! I hope so too (I'm in complete agreeance with the couples you mentioned!)~ And I think Semi getting a haircut would be awesome! A real change~ Maybe after he gets officially 'dumped' by Natsu. ^^;;

But what I'm most concerned about right now is point 3 (I'm extremely impatient to know!! I hope a new story arc opens up soon ><!!) and 6 (that's going to be one drama-filled, explosive encounter right there. I'm sure old wounds are going to open up...even though they were just starting to heal T_T)~

Point 8 would be really interesting, and if she's going to keep the series going for quite a while, then maybe finding foreign survivors would be a cool addition to the cast! Although I'm mostly content with the number of characters she has presently, it's still open to so many more possibilities. And perhaps they'll even find descendants of survivors from a shelter that worked properly this time. ^^;; But I definitely feel that 7 Seeds will be a lot longer than Basara. XP There's still so much left unexplained! A myriad of questions to be answered, and more questions just keep opening up as the plot thickens. =O

Aha! You're a NatsuxAngo shipper? I love them too but I hope Ango will stop seeing her as Shigeru.

...and I think Semimaru is better off with Fujiko (if they ever meet!), both of them are very verbal and perceptive in their own ways. It's a nice match, I guess. 🤣

Basara's ending? There's a chance that Tamura-sensei will tell us more about what happened to the rest of the surviving humans in the future. If the project is successful, there's no doubt the descendants from the current storyline will meet other survivors from different country.

Or.. it could be sooner than we thought! Arashi did left a message in a bottle, the bottle's bound to drift off somewhere [possibly in the other side of the world], and people will find it! >:-( 😀

Just throwing some Random speculations here.. IF Team Summer B did 'settle down' and build a village...
I'm guessing..

1. It will be close to the sea. ...a coastline perhaps! I can imagine their houses are built by the cliffs to protect themselves from high tides and predators. They also choose the location for its view!

2. Village activities?
   Aquaculture
   Arashi will probably enjoy this!

Hydroponics

Matsuri will be farming the new hybrid of soy seeds that only grow on seawater!

Tending Livestocks...mainly milk produced from Carol, eggs and meat from the Moron birds (aww..so cute!) ..and why do I get the impression that either Semimaru and Natsu will be handling the animals?

Unlike other teams, I dont think they're the type of people who likes spending their time hunting in the forest..or knowledgable enough to pick up wild herbs and complex farming and irrigation methods!
Plus! The forests have bugs crawling around [Semimaru and Arashi hate bugs!!].

3. Sustainable water source? The sea water filtered through reverse osmosis or evaporation & condensation.

If Ango and Ryou stays, they will be helping out with this. Afterall they're experts from the Water class

4. It will be a Beautiful village, Chimaki will spend most of his time making rock sculpture and paintings over the rocky cliffs surrounding their tiny little village. 😃

   🤣 🤣 It's fun imagining the different possibilities that will happen in the storyline!

AngoxNatsu shipper...hmm, sort of, sort of not (less so after reading volume 19). ^^;; But I definitely don't agree with her and Arashi or Semimaru. Wow, I really love the way you think. ;D That village you visualised for Team Summer B actually sounds exactly like how they would build it! How they've lived so far really hints towards them having an active hand in aquaculture, hydroponics and livestock farming. I definitely think that Summer B are best suited for the ocean/coastline, and you're right, the forest does not bode well for them, particular Arashi and Semimaru. On the contrary, Autumn, Spring and the rest of Summer A are fairly well adjusted to living inland/in the forested areas, so having two villages, one inland and one on the coast sounds like the best option. Then they could get a relay/communications network going between the villages, perhaps start a trading circuit so that they get the best of both locations!

Then maybe a small band can disembark in the Zoutoraion Maru to explore the world and meet other survivors on foreign shores! 😀

Somehow I need to throw all this off my mind because I've been so obsessed with 7 seeds lately. I'm glad I could discuss this with forumers like you!

When you mentioned this, I just realized there must be a reason for Tamura sensei 'isolated' the rest of the from Team Spring and Team Summer B from other teams. I guess you're right about their meeting being the 'last encounter'.

**That was my first thought when Tamura-sensei left that open plot device for us. **;D I know that everything she adds in, even the most minor of things, somehow have a greater significance later on down the line. She's good like that!

Here's some things worth mentioning...somehow I get a bad feeling that these things will foreshadow the future arcs...

** Something bad will happen to Ango..or worse...Ango will DIE? **

a) In vol.9, Ango has sworn to Koruri that 'in the future he will risk his life to protect her'.

b) In vol.17, Hotaru cried when she was reading Ango's right palm which signifies his birth. We're still not sure what her premonition was..

c) In vol. 18 and 19, Tamura has specifically hinted on the significance of the poison cyanides on Botan and Arashi's neck.That doesnt sound good for newcomers like Ango and Ryo neh?

d) In vol. 18, Chimaki has engraved Ango and Ryo's names onto the rock sculpture along with Team Summer B and Mozu's name.
There's a possibility that this will be discovered by other team like Aramaki, other Team Summer A or even Mozu himself.

e) The ambiguous romantic relationships between Ango and other female casts like Natsu, Koruri and Ayu.

Although Tamura sensei has hinted that he shares a non-romantic chemistry with Koruri, his physical attraction towards Ayu and his interest on Natsu...None of the characters are emotionally attracted to each other when compared to the relationship between Ryo and Matsuri that has developed throughout the plotline.

d) Ango's relationship with Shigeru.
Somehow Ango has never understood the reason why Shigeru would sacrifice himself to save him. In vol.20, he later learnt that humans are free to make their own choices. He has also developed a sense of empathy for other teams .

My point is.. IF Tamura-sensei decided that Ango has no close relationships [no potential mate?], and the fact that he's been introduced as a troubled 'natural leader' who just learnt the importance of the lives of others [as seen in the recent arcs].... could this be foreshadowing that at some point in the plotline, he will have to make a choice to 'sacrifice' himself to save others?

..I can't help but associate his character with Ageha from Basara.

I'm curious about what other people will say about the future arcs..

I used to love this manga,but the releases were so pathetically slow, that I could have just learned japanese and then finished reading all the chapters myself in the time that the group translates just 2 volumes. Funny part is this manga was completed a long time ago in japan. 🙄

@blaznazn22: The manga wasn't completed a long time ago in Japan...it's still being serialised in the Flowers magazine. It's up to volume 19, and there's no sign of an end drawing near. O_o Where did you hear the manga was completed?

Also releases have been more regular as of late, so you should try picking it up again. ^_^v There are also raws available to on the internet, you can try your hand reading them if you're impatient like me. 🙂

@Gunzy: If you mean the scans of the volumes, you can find the translated versions from the websites of the scanlation groups up to around volume 13. For the Japanese raws, you can also find them on the internet simply by googling for them. No one is being stingy with anything. ^^;;

@Brucie_kun: Yes I've had the same feeling for a long time...

That Ango is going to die. =/ It was either going to be Ango or Hana, but I'm pretty sure Hana isn't dead (yet), and since she's already had her fair share of being 'assumed dead', I don't think Tamura-sensei will actually go through with having her die. Which is why I do believe Ango will be the one dying in the end, and now that you mention it, it seems so fitting that he would die sacrificing himself as he goes! What a brilliant prediction. =O

I have noticed that about Ango too, the fact that all his 'potential' relationships have been vague or pretty much non-existent. I never understood his obsession with Ayu, but he doesn't seem to feel romantically for the pixie/soft types like Koruri and Natsu. =/ Maybe there'll be a spark between him and Fujiko or something, he seems more attracted to the mature types. =O

They'll probably be quite a few more deaths in future (Tamura-sensei is good at pulling out the tragic manoeuvres ^^;;) though, but I'm not sure who else is going to go. I'm also really curious about Hotaru/Hikari, and the importance of their roles later in the series (as well as Mozu XP). =O Tamura-sensei just keeps leaving hints and open plot devices for us to ponder on! But I know she'll tie them up, she always ties up loose ends perfectly. xD

I know! It's driving me crazy thinking about their roles in this manga.

Yuika Motokariya as Natsu.
I think she's perfect for Natsu's role. She has played docile shy-girl roles in a number of dramas and films. She's not that 'Pretty-Pretty' like those J-idol, but she's pretty enough to be Natsu.

She's got spunk...she's abrasive like Hana but I'm not really convinced if Chiaki can show a 'softer..loving' side. I still see her as Hana though.

Another possible actress that I think can play Hana's role is Kitagawa Keiko.

Her potrayal as Nokaze in Jin made me think she's perfect for Ran. She also has this beauty mark near her mouth!
