suggestion number 634:a list of favourite mangaka. one could add mangaka to the list and any manga in any list would get a little yellow star. or something recognizable. 633v5l

This is a great idea! 😃 Recently, I've come across so many authors that I just love and it's getting hard to keep track of them, so yeah; this would be a great addition 😁

Yeah, I'm for this too. Although, it doesn't have to be a priority compared to other site suggestions since I think that mangaka don't usually flood the manga world with several manga series coming out at once. 😉 (<- Gah, it's been so long that this emoticon has been broken... 🙁 ) There is the old fashion-old way of just clicking on the mangaka's name and just checking on his or hers past works.

I'd love this but it all depends on how hard it'd be to program.

Definitely agree!!! My imagination would have this feature let me know in orange me when one of my favorite authors began writing a new series, just like the reading list does for new releases.

I would really like this, too--at least SOME way to keep track of mangaka you particularly like would be nice. Sometimes it becomes a bit of a pain in the ass to try to all the different names and art styles you've enjoyed over time.

Great idea! There have been so many incidents where I'm looking for the favourite button when I'm looking at a certain mangakas profile ... --'
So I'm all for this idea ♥

You're right - it's such a pain having to all those names! 🤢

I really love that idea! 😀 😀 😀

I think this thing will really come in handy for keeping track of the works of the mangaka I really like.

Haha, I was going to suggest this too.

In the meantime, for everyone who wants to keep track of mangakas, make a custom list with the author/artist/circle's name as the title. From there you can either put titles into the list or you can keep them empty as just a record of the mangaka's name.

You can also do the same for mangakas you don't like, so when you search you can hit the "Only show manga not on any of my lists" option and their titles won't come up =D

I had a similar idea I was going to post today before seeing this. I thought it would be nice to have a mangaka scoring system no different than the manga scoring system so that one could easily find mangakas that most people are fans of.
