Actually I don't technically prefer any of these options over the others. I'm going to sound bad, but I really think these types are being overused. Most Shoujo mangas with these characters portray these archetypes with such repetition and dullness that it's annoying.
Of course, there are some guilty pleasures and their are some mangas who use them well. Just MOST...

I tend to like the loner types more because for on thing cuteness and shyness almost always entails the girl being a crybaby and then tearing up almost at every other occasion and requiring the guy to bail her out (if ever there is one) I mean, I like it when the guy rescues the main character but then when he just magically appears around every bend just when she's in trouble. I''m just weirded out. How long can those coincidences persist!! Okay, I think I ended up ranting something unrelated.
Point is I like stronger females, It doesn't matter if they're loners or not they just need to have the strength to take what is dished to them and maybe even brush it off with a smile. 😀

Loner girl. The shy and in other words weak and annoying... well, it's pretty obvious they get on my nerves. Without an ounce of personality makes them pretty worthless in my dictionary. As for man-haters... well, they're equally as annoying. The extreme "hate", or for most cases, tsunderes, they are usually too rude. In any case, they go too extreme. Dislike or just don't care about men is plenty fine though. So according to your description, I like the girls who don't require help from men, but if it's the poll, the loner girl.
Girls with personality. Girls that you can treat as fellow human, regardless of and beyond gender. I'm no fan of tomboys after all, you will always be a girl and you know it, so be one properly. Denying yourself is pointless. That said, pick up your own ass, don't you have any pride? Crying and waiting to be saved gotta be the most embarrassing act ever.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! go girl power! rawr! they are rare which makes them all the more precious but when they are too intense though they can become annoying but only if they become too dragged out without any character development. on the other hand though, the cutesy type and whiny types are annoying already to begin with so what the hell.

I went with "loner girl". I've nothing against the "cute and shy" types but they're all too common in Shoujo and (perhaps less so) in Josei manga. Not sure what to make of the "man hater" type though. I think "independent" may have been a better, more general term to use. I enjoy characters like the MC from Teppuu - a real change of tone from the usual routine.

Yeah... cute and shy... that's what I look for in Shoujo Romance manga... I think it's kind of cliché but I just love it. I love when "He saves her"... ^^,

Loner girl, as in Tonari no Kaibutsu.
Cute/shy is usually weepy. Man hater girls can be good or bad - I like Natsume from Tonari but really dislike Misaki from Kaichou. Difference being that Natsume is more suspicious of men than hateful, while Misaki is just rude while constantly needing saving.

The classical "cute and shy" is not my favorite but I do prefer over the other two given choices,
Strong man haters. I don't know who first decided to associate 'strong heroine' with 'abrasive tsundere tomboy' but this type of heroine really makes me mad. 🙁
