I like both Temari and Hinata because they have a shy side, I like Temari more only for the fact that she puts up a tough front to hide it. You just know once you're through that shell it's all soft inside, heh. And you wanna talk about being frustrated about lack of appearences? Us Temari fans are high and dry. 3j5i67

Unfortunately only in anime/manga heh?

Hinata all the way, but I don't think Temari is a bad character as well. 😔

I have never been a fan of Hinata and I probably won't be in my lifetime. I don't see her as a significant character that affects Naruto's outlook at life. There's also little to nothing to back her significance in the Naruto story.
Outside of the Chunin exam arc, there is nothing. Absolutely nothing to back her role as a character. With that said, coming to my favoraite character. I'd have to go with Temari.
Not because of the lack of information, because there is very little information on her as well. But her mind set is something I would expect out of a Shinobi. She knows when to be serious and when to fear something or respect something. There's no bias to her character nor is there any signs of an obsessive compulsive infatuation. And if anyone didn't understand what I meant by OCI. Well, here's an example; Sakura is to Sasuke as Hinata is to Naruto.
While one is bashful and persistent, the other is reserved and lacks confidence. The idea is the same.
Going back to the mind set, Temari understands what it means to be a Shinobi. Shinobi are tools for a village. It's true that friendship means a lot to everyone, but village first. Also Shinobi kill, something which Naruto either hasn't done in the anime/manga or by Kishimoto's standards is something that Naruto refuses to do. Which in turn, puts him in a position where he is of little to no use as a Shinobi.
And finally, Temari has a more developed body and thus is more visually appealing than Hinata. The Duck's ass hairstyle was never appealing pre-time skip, if Kishimoto had given her a different hair style and a slightly more outgoing personality I might have liked her.
Hell the substitute screen characters that I saw ed out in the Chunin exam arcs who were Genin looked more attractive than Temari or Hinata for the sake of argument, but I won't go into that beyond what I've already said.
So repeating once more I'll second what Sakimichi said. Temari FTW!
Hinata, FTL!

well anyways choose from the list and if your a girl or into boys just click other.
I am a girl and into boys ... well, men 😛
I voted other.
I haven't watched too far into the anime (watching on Cartoon Network), but the female characters so far seem comparably weak, or rather there's always a guy who stronger or must pick up their slack or defend them or something like that.

I don't know where they are at in cartoon network, but at least what you said makes me think that they didn't get to where Temari, or Tsunade shows up yet.

Why do you think ten ten is no fun? I think she's under rated though..Kishimoto doesn't feature girls much except Tsunade ,Sakura and Temari since its shounen. Kishi must be fund of boys 🤣

Well DUH!
I mean all we've seen for the last ten chapters is; Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, SASUGAY, Sasuke, Sasuke, Naruto, Sasuke, Itachi, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke.

I think Cartoon Network is just now showing Tsunade meeting with Orochimaru ... unfortunately I've missed several episodes recently because somebody keeps making my Tivo recordings disappear!! >:-(

Kishi is male, therefore it is probably easier for him to write from a boy's perspective.

I know that this is off-topic, but the story never gives a clear definition for "shinobi", like it does for chakra and of the different ninja ranks and abilities. The story itself is defining what a real shinobi is. Is it village, friends, or self first? In that case, maybe Hinata is a better shinobi than Temari. (But personally, I don't exactly like Hinata.)
I wish that the story would pick up a bit faster now. We're only seeing Sasuke because he's the important character at the moment.
