Let's see out of the Final Fantasy games that I have finished I liked VII and X the best, since those are the ones that I made my characters insanely strong (beat the final sephiroth in VII in I believe 5 hits, ok 18, or is it 17, if you count each of the hits that Knights of the Round does, but it's still only 5 attacks. Same goes for X in which all of my summons were doing 99,999 damage plus Tidus doing at least 20,000 an attack). Didn't really care for the level up systems in VIII and IX and didn't too much care for the battles in XII. Played through XII over half way before I had to much of the battles. Haven't been able to play through V or VI yet, but the tactics games were good. 1d6425
I believe the first Dragon Quest game I played was Dragon Warrior IV on the game boy color, that is if my memory serves me right. However Dragon Quest VII was amazing and I actually got to play it a week earlier than the release date here in the states since by some freek of nature my local video store got it in early.
Starcraft was my first, and only, foray into online pc gaming and I was hooked from end of my sixth grade year until freshmen year in highschool (9th grade). Now I limit my online gaming to xbox live since I probably would become addicted to an mmorpg if I ever played one.
Just finished playing Okami and I have to say that it was the best waste of 30 hours in my recent life. I mean the game was amazing and I actually understood many of the refrences in the game mainly from reading manga and having a personal intrest in some of the historical stuff.
There are so many games that I love and would like to list them all but it would be a large waste of space and I don't know who would actually sit and read through the whole post.

Oh, Final Fantasy Tactics kicked alot of ass. However, if you tried to get all the secret characters, then the game became a joke. Seriously, the last battle was absolutely nothing with the team you could form (with the exception of cloud because i couldnt be bothered to level him up)

That's the same thing with all Final fantasy games. I mean if you spend some time leveling "correctly" and get enough secrets, you can burn the last boss in one hit.
But that's why you have weapons and optional bosses.

Just what I was saying, that's not what i'd call inslanely strong by FF standards, At least not in FFX. I doubt you can beat Nemesis or the Dark Aeons/Penance (if you happen to play the international version) with that. The real chalange in the FF games are the optional bosses, I almost play the game just to beat those. Because the main storyline is just usualy easy to beat.
And about the leveling system in FFIX, I agree it sucked. But FFVIII was a different matter. It was awfully elaborate, and gave possibilitys to great tricks.

Yeah wait till you play FF 12 Stealth. The other Final Fantasy's were a cakewalk pretty much, but FF 12 was rather difficult. You really have to work hard to finish 12, because there will be many times that you will get game overs and have to flee from battle (just so you know, to get a game over in 12 all 6 of your charators must be dead, not just the 3 that are one the freld). Boss's in 12 later on arent that easy to beat and will really put you to work to beat them (when they get closer to death, the more deficalt the become). and there are some difficult side boss's aswell (mostly Espers and Marks). 3 of the side boss's have HP in the millions (you will be blown away by how much HP the last Mark has 😲 ), and there is only two things in the game that i know of that can break the damage limit of 9999, and thats a good chain of quickenings and the last Espers specal attack.
You should start playing FF 12 when you can Stealth. I suggest that you do it when you have ALOT of free time and to not play any other games when you play it too (because the game is HUGE. i have 170 hours put into it 😀 ).

Wow! You had trouble in FFXII? I haven't gone back to it since I stopped at a little under 50 hours to play other games (the story was boring) but I had the easiest time. I have always level-up'd more than I should, though...

I doubt that you were that far in the game. The story probably got boreing for you because you spent too much time away from it, to leve up and such (that might be the case). Do you remmbver where you were last in the game or where you were going?

Diablo II. Good old summer days. going to sleep at 3 or 4am, getting back up at 9am to play some more.
Final Fantasy 8, Squall was such a hot cutie :33
Super Smash Bros. Supah fun when 4 players.
SSX.
Gears of War.
Tekken 5 was cool, but not sure if I would put it in my fav. Tekken 6 looks neat.

I was somewhere in Golmore Jungle. I also don't give a damn about Ashe so I hate the story even more so. The battles aren't fun unless you're fighting big boss like creatures and gambits can't do everything for you.

Yeah you're about halfway though the game. And its around that time that the game becomes abit tougher. Also if you cant stand or care for Ashe, then i cant really see you liking that game very much, because the story mostly evolves around her.
Anyways to get back on topic. Sence everybody is listing alot of there favorite games, i think i should post more then just the ones that or my altime favorites.
So here they are all the FF games from FFVII and up and Tactics (FFVIII and FFX are my main favorites next to FFXII though), Alundra 1 & 2, Vagrant Story, Xenogears, Parasite Eve 1 & 2, ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, the Silent Hill games, the Resident Evil games (i like Silent Hill more though 😛 ), Chrono Triger, Chrono Cross, the Ratchet & Clank games, Breath of Fire IV, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Wild ARMs 2, and i guess Disgaea is one of my favorites aswell.

Yeah, I brought Ashe up because I knew she played a central part in the story. I've finished 2 games (Twilight Princess and God Hand) already after stopping, so it'll be awhile before I even pick up the game again. Next on the list is Wind Waker or Tales of Symphonia...

Next on the list is Wind Waker or Tales of Symphonia... I'd say go Tales. although Wind Waker is good it gets so dang boring sailing everywhere, especially when looking for the tri-force which is where I just stopped. Symphonia, although not listed in my last post, is one of my all time favorite RPGs and the first Tales game that I played. Actually I thought about going through the trouble of getting my gamecube back just to play that game again.
Also look for Tales of the Abyss for the PS2. I think I spent close to 70 hours on that game over my winter break, anyways it's a superior game than Tales of Legendia which came out a few months before it.

Long games scare me now; which is funny coming from an RPG fan. I have plans on picking up Tales of the Abyss, Final Fantasy VI Advance (haven't played this in so long), and Rogue Galaxy but all these games will kill me based on game time needed alone. It took me nearly 2 months to finish Twilight Princess and that's a shock to me since I used to finish long games in a week or two.
I'm still waiting on my order of Wind Waker to come. I am still on a Zelda high since Twilight Princess which was a month ago.

the silent death- if you liked symphonia, you might like some of the earlier tales games, tho they all are 2-d fighting(im sort of nuerotic about the tales series)
i loved symphonia too, presea was the coolest character
