I pretty much play every genre. I prefer board strategy(Chess/GO) alas, those are not popular where I live. But I play MMORPGS, FPS, RTS, Fighter, RPG. While my Co-Worker and I are at Work we usually setup tabletop RPG because we work 12 hours shifts at night or during the weekend.

I tend to enjoy RPG and RTS games the most when it comes to generic classifications of video games, but I would have to say that my favorite game would have to be super smash brothers melee, which doesn't really fit in to either of those categories.

Yes...I'm mainly an RPGer. Though I'll still play other genres as well. The only ones I don't care much for are sport games, unless they involve mario & crew or it's one of those other quirky weird ones.

For table top only Warhammer 40k never really played to much D and D but I like to play it when I can.
For Video Games mainly Oblivion some JRPGs here and there.

I really miss traditional RPG like Final Fantasy, most RPG now are instant action RPG and some it are blended with FPS. Then there are some RPG games that doesnt offer much spell or skill, some cant be obtained or they just give you fixed spell or skill. JRPG obviously my current interest right now but its in japanese....

Out of all the games I play about one of five is a fighting game, another one is something else and the rest three are RPGs. Yup, I play RPGs a lot and if the game is good enough, I can easily spent more than 100 hours playing it.

I prefer RPGs due to the nature of the game in itself. Playing an FPS or RTS has always left me thinking that no matter how much I play I don't technically get anywhere.This is why i like RPGs, I know that the more effort I put in it the better it gets. Mostly play MMORPGs such as WoW but I also play CS:S and some DJ games such as stepmania, O2jam or adution.

RTS games for me. They actually require skill and intelligence.
For those people confusing MMORPGs with real RPGs.. just.. UGH.
The two games I've played the most hours over the course of my 20 years in existence would be Starcraft, and Neverwinter Nights. NWN is #1, SC #2, and Diablo 2 #3. And by NWN I don't refer to the single player, but the playing on Player Worlds as well as the creation of/scripting for PWs.

Wow, you sound like the kind of guy I am, except I prefer SCBW over NWN, and good ol' pen&paper D&D over NWN. 😛

Yes, I'm mostly an RPG gamer...probably because my reflexes aren't all that great 🤣 .
Although lately I've been more of an MMORPG gamer...probably because it doesn't take as much brain power as some RPG games do.
