there's only little info on the remake, they announced the remake on 2008, but up till now theres no release date and just some little info on the changes they will make. they will either make a remake or a sequel(which I am wishing for: canon satsujinki).

well, they cannot make two VNs in such a rush rite? i mean, the quality would somehow drop.

but seriously, why does people like satsuki anyway? in my eyes, she gives a "ing chara" aura. not interesting at all. i just can't understand people sometimes.

Oh her, I the first time playing the VN and thinking does she have a route? If she does get one then I wonder what it would be like.

i mean sure TYPE-MOON fans are usualy pretty weird to begin with but

Anime is usualy just a very watered out adaptation of a game/manga/light novel so it will work for everyone
im not saying the anime is good...but its not in any way worse than any other visual novel turned into anime

TYPE-MOON fanatics just like to make their opinions heard everywhere thats all

Not really, Getchuu don't really have as much hate for the F/SN adaptation.

Tsukihime was just a horrible, horrible adaptation.

it was pretty bad. considering everything that had to be cut out, and all the changes that the anime made only for the anime, and that the game is... not sure how long, but know damn well that its longer than 12 anime episodes. everything is poorly explained, and the fact that i believe that the end for the anime is the good end from the game, but because its never explained, it only feels like a realy bad end.

there is allot of reason to hate the anime, mainly because this wasn't just another, male, harem, gets a girl vn's, but it was treated like it was one.

The difference in anime from manga is simple. They cut all action fights and the one vs Nero was kinda lol -.- He didnt do the Last Arc. Fail. They only focused on romance between Shiki and Arcueid.

I really hope after they release the remake VN they do the remake of anime with ALL epic fights and well done! Not lame as they did on anime. Also have more story.

tsukihime is maybe not as much as fsn but very close to that limit

the company in charge probably did not want to gamble
so they made their own version
still pretentious but not on the level of the vn

clearly they were in the wrong here

when i am in the mood i like type-moons work
but i can see why they [jcstaff i think it was] chose a more mainstream approach

Unless it's detailed in the other paths (Got the Arcueid "True" ending) or the follow-ups, the only "epic fights" in the VN is just against Nrvnqsr, Roa, and those couple fights again The Dead.

Also, looks like remake of the VN is either vaporware or in development Hell as far as anyone is concerned since it's been almost 12 years with nothing to show for it in the past 8 years.
