I'm interested in Cross Game but so far I don't know what to do: watch the anime or read the manga...
So I'd like to know, for those of you who can help, is the anime worth waiting for? (I haven't watched one episode, I was waiting for it to end.)
The manga is already completely scanlated so if it's superior to the anime there's no reason for me to wait anymore 😉

Well, honestly the anime follows exactly in a 99% the manga, except maybe for some fillers here and there, but it's an exact copy, and to be honest i REALLY prefer it that way. I hate when they give it an original direction just to ruin it (witch happen every so often).

Both. anime for the filler and maybe that emotional track they played at the end of the first ep, and manga for it's laid back environment and subtle convo and Adachi's in-jokes, which are sadly absent most of the times in the anime.
