Lucy, while seeming just like a silly mascot character, is actually infinitely more suited to developing a romantic relationship with Taiga than Aika or any other character. 2b656j

Why is that? They trust each other. Kuzumi is very relaxed and honest when he talks to her, much more than he is with Aika's friends. She's always been able to share his burden, because she knows his secret. She's helped him out many times when he's needed it, and he's been very kind to her and has brought a lot of happiness into her life. She has a crush on him, because he's kind--not for some lame reason like he "seemed cool" at some point.

Anyway, this blew my mind when I first noticed it. I hadn't cared about Aika at all, and figured romance was dead in this manga. The fact that she's so small is what prevents anyone from taking her seriously. If she became life-sized and continued to help out Kuzumi, she would become a serious romantic interest. But it will never happen because the mangaka is too busy hyping up Aika.

ends with practically no completeness to the relationships between all taiga and his gf candidates

I usually root for the main character's love interest and since that is Hiragi, I gonna have ta say NO! Besides I usually like a nice non-complex relationship when I'm reading manga.

Well, Taiga and Lucy's relationship has always been a favorite of mine. It's very entertaining and good, because it's deeper then just romance.
I hope it doesn't end like in "pretty face", where it was just one mine pairing and the other were more or less sidelined, even though it was a harem... especially since I favor Mizuki over Aika. But if pretty face is any hint, then it'll end oneside as well (okay pretty face ended with no one going out, and several girls showing interest, but he hat his sights on only one from the beginning to the end, and she did, too... so go figure <.<").

and about the ending, um it was discontinued.

It works better as a partnership rather than a romance.

That's my opinion but It didn't really bother me who he was gonna be with since there wasn't that much romance in there but it was more about developing the story and I think if there was going to be romance it could have been written into later arcs but we may never know since it was discontinued. too bad there isn't a poll or have a way to write to the mangaka asking for him to continue. 🙁

Guys, they have magic. I'm sure through some spell that Kuzumi could eventually learn, he could probably make her into a real girl. And yeah, I liked Lucy a lot more than any of the other female characters, next came the other girl that wasn't Aika, I can't think of her name off the top of my head

I never found out why but I was rooting for lucy since her introduction.... probably cuz the main love intests only interesting part was a love of old man jokes. Srsly boring and 2d char in comparison to lucy.
