I know Kotonoha and Manga-Screener have been dead for a long time, and that a lot of other seinen scanlation groups have already come and gone since. Otherwise, I've been completely out of the loop and generally focused from other hobbies aside from manga for about a decade. I used to massively rely on those two groups to shape my taste and guide me for what to read next, so just wanted to see who the most well-regarded present seinen scanlation groups were right now. Thanks! 6z644c

Lovely Strange Dark has some interesting series. Hox and Illuminati-Manga are still around (they already existed 10 years ago? I think so.), even if not as regularly, so you can check them out.

Ever since Kotonoha and we over at Mangascreener stopped operating I mostly focused on print manga myself. Viz published a bunch of Ikki series which was great, and they've been going hard on Junji Ito stuff, too. In other words I don't have a clue, but that LSD group looks promising! I should get back into some translating myself...

Barbapapa, it's awesome (and makes sense) to see that you are now in publishing!

Thanks for the tip, Oniluap. I thought Hox and Illuminati-Manga went into a more dormant phase, as well, but it looks like they are still pushing stuff out here or there.

Adding to the suggestions above, Habanero Scans has done an eclectic selection of manga in recent years, including a number of oneshots from Garo and several series by the Nishioka siblings.

I'd also suggest you check out the series done by One Snowshoe, a group that looked to be on the way to becoming a spiritual successor to Kotonoha before its unfortunate demise. (If nothing else, read Goshiki no Fune.)
