Art maybe somewhat of a distaste for some, but it'll grow on you as you read along. Pacing of the story's well done, and its depth in portraying the different characters' background and development on equal allotment are its greatest strength. Read thoroughly and you shall not be disappointed 4r11y
quite frankly one of my fave sports manga to date. I like how the mangaka explores E-chan's overly meticulous personality as a student, a son, and a tennis player. It's quite intriguing how he used that behavior from being the best in class to being the best in the sport, realizing he found his dream in the attempt of trying to stay fit. The mangaka has managed to keep this one simple yet fun, and...
seriously. I like how the author's pacing for the story. he obviously does not like too much technicalities which is suited for this manga. I can relate to the humor as well. well done
the first few chapters tells you the whole mood of this series. . . and if you're expecting more, you're an idiot. this ain't naruto with his techniques or Basara/Berserk with a deep deep storyline. nevertheless, i had fun reading it for the story that it is. it's fun.
still, im keeping an open mind. the author is holding back his trump card for later volumes.. . things might get interesting. . .
Story did start out slow. i really thought this was one of those mangas made specifically for teens not older than 20, but it's a good read once you get half way.
dont expect much though. plot can be considered a little generic and character development is a little slow as most shounen. nevertheless, what sets it and gives it it's distinction is the good tale of myth and mystery.
