It's perfect, but it makes me feel so lonely, like the world of this manga is a world removed from oursI guess it's because it's hard for me to pin down the time when it could have happened, with its characters looking and acting a bit like they came out of a 70's movie 294d5

I liked the fact that the main two characters weren't oh-so-the most beautifull; they were just ok. Also, this manga is very sweet and very funny, i reccomend it :3 It gives off, kinda, the "warm+intimate" vibe, i'd say... so i'm glad the whole Magic thing wasn't made into a main point of the story - that it was just a background.

at first i thought it was gonna be weird or clitche, but apparently it is not the case at all. the tacky lines and unreasonable situations [like compulsory marriage] dissolve in the humor, and you learn to appreciate the chibi parts [this mangaka's got a knack for them!] also, the feelings of both parties seem to develop in quite a nice way. at least, i could sympathize.

Vol 1 was lovely, the funny faces cracked me up, I couldn't stop reading. But after they got together I found it a bit hard to relate to Moogyeong (haha I had to look up his name... 🙁 ), maybe because I wasn't reading as closely, maybe because I no longer felt that will they-won't they dynamic. It was still very good though.

...i mean, since i'm not reading yaoi for smut, i don't even notice it here that much. i guess i like how this manga breaks some patterns - like, totally reverses them, which is fun to watch when you've already downed so much of good--but having a conventional plot manga [which i like, too].
hm... and the bondage and questionable consent things are always made okay so it has never really begun to...

Okay, so this is probably the only incest story I actually enjoyed because it avoids all the reasons for why an incest relationship should have been gross. The characters meet when "the father" is younger than "the son", "the son" is never raised by "the father", they're both men so there is no issue of babies, and the age gap is never really noticeable. It's only incest to provide a solid reason...

The main story would have been cute enough if not for the gay-for you trope; otherwise, you can learn something about movable printing (which was a nice touch). Soejima should have gotten his comeuppance though, sexual harassment is not ok

I can't emphatize with the characters. Extreme trauma is just ignored, glossed over. Wish it was not as extreme, I don't like dark stories, but as it is, this should have been a tragedy.

Yet another of the "shojo manga made into yaoi" titles. In my opinion, the uke could for a [not-so-girly] girl, and he was really a good-for-nothing compared to his friends. But what irritates me the most is that damn seme, the Mysterious Ideal Guy who is both handsome & friendly & intelligent & hardworking and lives only so that he could the uke. The difference between them is...

honestly, these two... I hate them. they work just TOO hard! I wanted them to meet some hardships because of that attitiude of theirs, but in the end I was left high and dry. this manga is not bad, but ugh. I feel so annoyed after reading it; I wish I had never came across this title.
