The story overall was alright. It was really adorable but I wish there was more with the yo-kai and the family. Mainly the family, it would have been nice to see them rekindle their relationship and even taking a new family photo with Rin in it. 4t2p51
That one-shot in chapter 5, though, was horrible and disgusting. Manipulation and rape really wasn't what I signed up for.

I went into this thinking the main character was going to be a trans man becuase it was pitched to me as a BL. I'm a little disspointed in that since there aren't many (if any) Japanese boys love manga wiith a trans man main character or love interest. It didn't really factor into my rating, though, I still absolutly loved and cared about Subaru all the same.

Echoing luna697's comment 100%! Nonomura was the most insufferable character to read from. He acted like more of a child than his son. I get that he's overwhelmed, I get that he needs therapy, but the way he would yell and even frighten Sora while also being short-tempered about everything and not talking things out made me wanna scream. That last chapter pissed me off so much.

Eh, it's ok. It's a little too simple and slow for me and how big the age gap was (one dude was at the tail end of 19 while the other was 33 I think) is was kind of weird, but there was nothing too creepy or straight up fetish-y about it like some other age gap stories I've unfortunately read.
