Glad you all like it 🙂 Technically speaking, this project really got started at the beginning of June this year ;-)
The mods got a preview, so we already knew it was to be launched. But it's still awesome to look upon it. It's so good! ;__; Especially the timeline is useful
Definitely a great contribution in the scanlating community!

Not necessary, maybe, but its the best way for people to see it, a lot of people may only go straight to the new releases (I know I do sometimes).
Not like it hampers your browsing in anyway. Great site too.

I just read through the history of scanlation and it's one of the most impressive things I've read lately.
Such a deep insight in the esoteric community is both rare and interesting.

The site is very informative for those interested in the scanlation scene. I found it very interesting and engrossing. One can spend 1/4 a day on that site just reading everything. Thanks to all people that made it possible.

My paranoid self thought MU got hacked for a second when I saw the banner. 😛

Reading the interview with njt and the so-called letter from Kodansha I thought, "That's the fakest-looking C&D letter I ever saw in my life!" I wouldn't be surprised if some fan wrote it.

The best interview on the site has to be Simon Jones' from Icarus Publishing. He was pretty much the only one who sounded like a modern manga fan turned professional.
Jason Thompson's interview was interesting but it seems his reply to the question of ever reading scanlations was the same as Marco Pavia's reply (Tokyopop) to the question of scanlation's role. Was this an editing mistake?

Wow ooooooops! Not sure how that escaped the editing machine, but that was definitely a mistake... it should be fixed now 🙂

I personally visited the site from the banner the other day and only just now saw the news for it. The banner I suppose is for people who might overlook the less obvious news/article link.

LOL... Ditto, it made me feel old as I've been following since 2002 as well. Not quite usenet old, but I am only 22.
