Horimiya started out as a rather serious manga with comedic elements that explored people's images versus their true selves. Over time, it's shifted its focus; it's now mainly comedic with the occasional serious moment. The blurb isn't accurate at this point anymore; **Horimiya is a manga, which shows glimpses into the characters' lives, how they deal with their relationships (whether it be... 633p5p
I personally love this manga. I find it adorable and cute and it's got this fluffy, innocent feeling to it. It focuses on the two main characters, and, while you see short appearances of other characters, the manga revolves around the two lead characters. I think what I enjoy about this manga is its simplicity. I like reading just one chapter and feeling satisfied from the short little look into...
I really love this. When I read this, I get such a goofy grin on my face from the absolute cuteness of the characters relationship! If you love adorableness and shoujo ai then definitely read this because it's just so much fun to read. The art is gorgeous and it's fully in color (if you like that). The chapters are pretty short, but there's quite a few out already and updates are relatively...
Hmm...I like this and I find it interesting so far, but it's a little all over the place. The characters aren't anything particularly special; they can fall into typical categories so far. There are inconsistency with the characterizations and the plot, but it's still enjoyable. It takes a twist with the whole time travel by adding multiple time travels, which does end up contributing something...
While it has a bit of a risque title, the story is actually quite sweet. The manga tells the story of two people who are unhappy with their lives, an older man who works for a "black" company and a young woman who works as a hostess in a bar. When they meet, the young woman persuades him to leave his job since it makes him so overworked and unhappy, and he then decides to follow his dreams and...
This is a pretty cute and funny manga. It parodies the Prince character in shoujo manga and it does a good job of poking fun at this cliche. The romance part is alright, but I definitely read this manga more for the humor than the romance.
I would recommend this to someone who wants something light-hearted and silly!
I started reading this when this manga was at the peak of its popularity. I did enjoy it when I first started reading it, but after a while the plot has begun moving slowly and it feels as if the only movement that happens is introducing new characters rather than having the original characters' growths. I agree with a lot of the reviewers that this manga has been dragging on a little longer than...
This is a pretty unique manga. Basically it follow the main male lead through many of his past (and failed) relationships. He's not always likable, but he acts realistically which is probably why a lot of readers seem to dislike him. He makes mistakes, reasonable ones and stupid ones. He acts like a jerk sometimes, but he's understandable.
It's an interesting concept and so far, I've enjoyed...
