This does remind me of a poor man's Koisuru Boukun , but I still found it pretty cute. The art is nice and the characters are fun. It's nothing amazing and every idea in it has been done and done much better, but I enjoyed reading it for light reading. 2z2y21
I agree with other reviews that the attitude towards domestic violence in this manga kind of ruined it for me. I did enjoy it a lot until the end and the things Kengo said to the woman who was abused. Strangely I could take Hidetoshi blaming himself for being beaten because he was the victim and a lot of victims do in fact blame themselves, but everyone knew it wasn't his fault. Kengo told him...
Cute story, but I like the side characters more than the main ones.... but still very enjoyable read.
Awesome story, great art and expressions on the characters. The story basically follows two guys who work together and their relationship from coworkers, to friends to lovers. I'd say it avoids a lot of cliches in BL you see : no super seme, no rape means love, no weak willed girly uke, no flowery language of love and devotion. There are misunderstandings and drama, but they aren't so...
I read it, but don't actually enjoy it much. Chiwa is just spineless and quite annoying. Hokuto was a jerk to start with, but is the only character with actual growth in the manga. Chiwa is still the same crybaby who jumps to conclusions she's been since the first chapter. She's also not even slightly understanding about the feelings of her husband towards his past and family. I don't like...
This is a good manga. It was fun and had a nice story, though not all that original. I do think the main issue is that it just didn't need 3 (+?) volumes to tell the story it did. It seemed to repeat itself and didn't really flesh out the characters all that much. The smut is nice and I do like the story and characters, but I wish the author made better use of the story and actually had things...
Suzuki Tsuta writes some of the most enjoyable one shots. Despite the short length she's able to do what a lot of mangaka can't do in a whole volume of manga. This wasn't one of her best one though. It's intriguing and I'd love to know more about the people, but I don't think she quite let us into the world enough this time for this story to be enjoyable. It just leaves you wanting more...
Really adorable manga! The art is a little strange at first, but the story is so cute.
Loveable characters and nice story. The art is also very pretty and even though Izumi
dressed up like a girl, he doesn't come across as too girly strangely enough
I'm not really a fan of manga with idols or actors because the characters usually have an air of being too cool to live and it isn't just that enjoyable to read. There is some of that in this, but it's done in a rather amusing way...
Great premise and wonderful characters. Shio espeically is one of the most thoughtful and mature characters I've seen in quite awhile. Miya is also wonderful and so endearing. I really adore their conversations above all else. It's very well written and they actually take the time to get to know each other and their relationship grows from there. A must read for anyone. The art is of course...
Very cute manga. Nice characters and great art. Not to mention her sex scenes manage to be very hot while not even showing that much. I'm really pleased to see more than your typical love scene. As for the story, I find it very tongue in cheek in a lot of ways. It's going against the "rules" of seme and uke supposedly, but still really plays up the stereotypes in a very humorous way. The...
The art is gorgeous and whole style is just really great. It's not something every manga has, the clothes, the hair - everything is so well done. The story isn't quite as good, but still it's very fun. The main couple are hilarious and unique. Shinkai and Yumeji's kind of reversal of your stereotypical characterization is nice to see. One complaint though is the main couple is the only one I...
Probably my favorite manga by Kano-sensei. I just love both of the characters. Motoharu is so hilarious and perverted, but still manages to be so charming and sweet. Kouta is an interesting character as well. You think he's going to be your typical tsundere uke, but he's really a lot more than that. He has a bit of a past, but he's not owned by it and doesn't let it control all his actions. ...
Disappointing to me. I always enjoy stories with established couples and thought this story would be more of how the couple overcomes their issues to strengthen their relationship, but they really aren't that established considering Tsukihara cheats every chapter just because he's horny or wants to fool around. Then they make up with sex and there are never any consequences. It's all pretty...
I have nearly no interest in the main couple - that storyline has been done to death. The art also isn't great enough to really care about it either. BUT I think the " lovely older couple" are far more interesting and make the manga worth reading.
Very cute! I usually am not one to read manga with kids in it, but I'm really enjoying this. The characters are lovely and the story is heart warming and sweet. The daughter in the story is also very adorable. Such a sweet personality. It's a great slow moving story. There are some misunderstandings about one of the characters at first, but even then the one who misunderstood is never...
Such a cute story. The first couple is pretty predicable, but I really loved Minamoto the older brother and wish there were more of his story. His relationship with his brother Keisuke and new brother (and lover) was much more interesting than the first storyline. I wish Keisuke had seen how much his brother had done for him, but he pretty much remained the same selfish (though lovable) brat...
I love the couple in this manga. It's just fun sex and nothing much more. But the problem is there are tons of one shot chapters in it that don't feature the hilarious couple from the main story. The one shots aren't bad by any means though. They just aren't as great as the main couple.
Such gorgeous eye candy! I can't think of anyone who draws better in the boy love world. The story is fun, nothing too serious. The couple is very cute. It doesn't exactly follow what the title suggests (detective agency) and I would love to have more backstory or another volume, but I enjoyed it as it is. Great read.
This isn't your typical BL manga. You only see glimpses of the stories and characters. I'm not even sure the main characters are in a real "love story" as told by many BL manga. Looking past the surface, it does have a lot of depth. Paul is a great character. It's a bit sad when you consider he can't be true to himself and remains married to a woman he doesn't even seen to like. It is very...
Need more! Really adorable story. Love the mangaka as well. Great art and the characters are fun and interesting. The progress with the couple is actually believable for a change.
